  • I still have my original ones from the 70's ....

  • Haha I got some at the swap meet for no reason!

  • I want clackers now

  • yo when i was a teenager i had a lot of these all different colors to man i miss the pre-internet days when a simple toy like this would draw crowds i think that's one of the bad things about the internet how it kills people's social skills because in my early teens i used to bring comics to school and so did many others and we would talk about them then as the internet started to boom in the late 90's everyone stopped doing it and began to talk about being online and slowly turned to zombies

  • DOES ANYONE KNOW ...WERE THIS TOY ORIGINATED FROM ..WHAT COUNTRY/ CITY........HELP....

  • @HUNEILICKIT4U The inventor lived in Rockford Illinois. he gave me an original set .

  • I still see them hanging on telephone pole wires!

  • You didn't do it right. You're suposed to get three clacks out of it, miss, and then bust your knuckles!!!! Well, that's how I did it anyway.

  • everytime i see these i think of drake and josh xD

  • @pimpadaisy haha i agree xD especially the ones made in Mexico:P

  • I think they were called Kerbangers.

  • That was the one used in drake and josh

  • watching drake and josh right now lol

  • Hate to date myself but I was there when they came out as Klackers. I believe they were removed from the market because the resin had a tendency to fracture after moderate use. I recently dug up an original pair at my sisters lake home while digging in the yard. The ring and balls were perfect although the string had since disintegrated. Easy restore, what fun!

  • @TheArc69 Yea I had them too...at least two sets if not more because all my buddies had them too.We used them as cheap nunchucks, real head crackers.Learning curve was very short, either you figured it out or you went to the ER because your wrist or wrists had hairline fractures in them.I know they recalled them because of the shattering, but I actually never saw any shatter. These are mild compared to some of the "toys" the come from China now. Wish I had some again.

  • I took my ballz to school and got them confidscated. then when i went to them pick up in the office after school, the security lady had her own pair of ballz and pulled them out and showed them to me. i couldnt understand how security could have ballz but students cant have ballz

  • @girlgamer985 Lol...did she have a moustache too?

  • world most dangerous toy

  • People who say "...should be thrown in jail for child endangerment" especially in all caps, should be executed on general principle. Get the hell out of the way and let natural selection run it's course.

  • VERY DANGEROUS TOY THE PERSON WHO INVENTED THOSE SHOULD'VE BEEN THROWN IN JAIL FOR CHILD ENDANGERMENT

  • they banned them at my elementary school because everyone was hurting themselves.

  • These wreaked havoc on the wrists of millions of kids across the planet.

  • Does anyone have a link to the original commercial for Ker-bangers?

  • dear god this is what toys used to be like O___O

  • Thats the sounds my balls make when they hit a chicks ass lol

  • Clackers Is Marked As A Weapon

  • I won a clacker at a carnival years ago. it drove my family nuts listening to me play that thing. My brother broke one of the balls off so it wouldnt work anymore.

  • When I was little they were called "Kerbangers"....

  • Those things were dangerous as hell... Which was kinda the appeal of them, really.

  • i could so use that as a weapon.

  • i used to buy these and for some reason they would be gone the next day

  • ahhhh i wish i coulc do that!!! but i suck=/ i always hurt mysefl -.-

  • I only ever seen one set of these when I was a kid, a neighbor kid had them, they were a real pretty deep blue color. I didn't try them cuz I didn't know what they did, I was more interested in the neighbor girl any way.

  • they always seemed to end up straddling telephone wires...

  • hahaha I remember when I was a kid in the late 60s we bought some of these from a guy selling them outside of Woolco department store...it was close to Christmas. Boy we got lots of bruises on our arms til we learned how to do it right. I loved being a kid back then.

  • I still have my ORIGIONAL ONES before they took them off the market

  • @jerzeytpke they sell them at the jersey shore wildwood

  • i have those...they sell them on the jersey shore

  • Lots and lots of bruises on the backs of your hands with these, especially with the glass ones.....Ouch!!!

  • LOL drake and josh

  • @whoatherekelsey no they just advertised them on drake and josh.

  • I had these in early 70s. They had the glass ones and the plastic ones. I had the plastic and they were orange.

  • lol i got mine frum the ice cream truck xD

  • I hurt my elbow with that many times!! Still loved it!

  • I bought some at the bi state fair, and they make fireworks ilegal

  • I played this on Warioware lol

  • My Grandpa And a business partner invented these in the 60's

  • @BranSplurge awsome, really?

  • Drake and Josh!!!! xD

  • I remember these in the 70's. They were made of glass and they hurt like hell when you couldn't get them going right. But after you mastered them you drove your mom crazy hearing them . I think mine got thrown away by her. I didn't think they still sold them.

  • I saw some of these at a toy show, they were 20 dollars average price....... What a rip

  • @Thecompanioncrate u can get them at the jersey shore for 5 bucks

  • @jbffl10 I got mine in Mexico and it was $3.00 for 5 pairs

  • I still have this toy somewhere. Was pretty easy to get hurt too.

  • I loved these!

  • fake

  • @MegaKiryZilla how is it fake

  • @TheCodmw2rocks

It's not, that's just a "joke" that dumb people repeat endlessly throughout the internet.

  • Keyop!!

  • I got mine when I was 7 from my older sister. They were purple and grey swirls and made from some sort of plexi-glass. I would have to hold my face away for fear of them exploding (which the eventually did). But I got them clacking like this! Ahhh sweet memories.

  • In Brooklyn ,NY they soled them under the name Click Clak

  • i have the same pair oh yeah there called ganickganoks

  • Hell Yeah!!! THESE ARE OLD SCHOOL!!!!! When toys were simple fun, and dangerous! Now'adays you got the p***y plastic version....waack! When i was a kid and you had bruises on your wrist, hahaha the bigger the better cause you were going hard!

  • I loved them i could do that soooooo fun

  • We used to see what we could do while clacking..I remember riding my bike while clacking with both hands !!!! That sounds kinda obscene doesn't it ?? ha ha ha

  • I had a set of these and they never exploded, diego9774 you got it right ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The ones I remember having (about '71, when they came out) where tinted clear, hard-ass plastic molded at ends over a yellow or white rope. Outlawed in public schools back in a dayz.

  • I believe this is the 1990s version of the toy...as the earlier version just had a metal ring. Same principle, tho.

  • Hey I got some yesterday :D

  • Ouch! Takes me back to 1971, when Apollo 15 made the fourth landing on the Moon, and we enjoyed steamed treacle sponge and custard at school, and Melanie wore her navy blue trouser suit at Auntie Bertha's house. The clacking noise drove older people crackers!!

  • ur good

  • They are good for hunting small animals

  • I had one of those things when I was a kid. It was pretty fun. Of course the stupid govt. pulled them off the market after some spastic kid got hurt playing with one.

  • I had one of the sons o bitches. One day one of the balls hit my wrist and that was it. Then again I burned myself on my Mattel Thingmaker set, and also got a spinning Whizzer Top twisted in my hair.

  • these were banned at school due to crap rules the were ment to shatter

  • @drtrimbo If some one came swinging one at you at school you'd be glad they did They made a good weapon to

  • how to much for one and where can i buy it

  • How much for one?

  • @kernyui45 LOL just a few minutes ago i seen them on there. i remember these from way back

  • haha at fisrt ii was all like HOLY SHIT!!

  • We had the kind that looked like large glass marbles. They were pulled from the market because there was a toxin inside of them.

  • Once we started fighting with them at school, they were confiscated. It wasn't a pretty sight for the school staff, seeing the clackers airborne like flying messengers of death.

  • Yeah bro, I hear ya.

  • I am the click clack expert of the world, I looooove them

  • my mom remembers bruising her arms so bad when she got them going and i just got a pair and she is teaching me

  • Tell your mom I feel her pain. I remember those things were painful and by the time you mastered them you were already tired of them and then you moved on to the hippity hop or the slip and slide. They came out with safer clacks a couple of years latter but those were for sissy's.

  • remember when they broke? man, pretty crazy !

  • my mother plays with my clakers mor than me

  • your mother would beat you severely if she caught you saying that. . . :D

  • @TobiFan12345 Ew.....

  • @TobiFan12345 your mother plays with my clackers more than me xD

Jk Jk, don't take it seriously xD

  • I remember the ones they made in the '70s that would shatter if you got them going fast enough

  • And whose mother never said "Those will poke your eyes out!"

  • cool!
