yo when i was a teenager i had a lot of these all different colors to man i miss the pre-internet days when a simple toy like this would draw crowds i think that's one of the bad things about the internet how it kills people's social skills because in my early teens i used to bring comics to school and so did many others and we would talk about them then as the internet started to boom in the late 90's everyone stopped doing it and began to talk about being online and slowly turned to zombies

Hate to date myself but I was there when they came out as Klackers. I believe they were removed from the market because the resin had a tendency to fracture after moderate use. I recently dug up an original pair at my sisters lake home while digging in the yard. The ring and balls were perfect although the string had since disintegrated. Easy restore, what fun!

@TheArc69 Yea I had them too...at least two sets if not more because all my buddies had them too.We used them as cheap nunchucks,real head crackers.Learning curve was very short,either you figured it out or you went to the ER because your wrist or wrists had hairline fractures in them.I know they recalled them because of the shattering,but I actually never saw any shatter.These are mild compared to some of the "toys" the come from China now. Wish I had some again.
