You couldn't have chosen any better than these two electrifying voices. Carrie and Jackie, in my opinion, are at the top of their genres and the amazing aspect is they've both been given to us via TV talent shows. What a service these types of shows are performing by given voice to talent all over the world - thank you for that. Both of these God talented singers will go down in history among the best that have ever sung.

I think Carrie sings it from her heart because she is a believer in Christ....when she sang How Great Thou Art it was because she felt the Holy Spirit. It was amazing!!!

I loved the way Carrie totally killed, "How great thou Art," this year, and that is a song I'd like to hear Jackie sing and think she would also murder. Merry Christmas.

I adore both of these great singers but you can't compare these two renditions, or the singers. Carrie is singing in the key of Ab, a country version, indoors with great acoustics, in a concert setting where she can really let her voice out. Jackie is singing four notes higher in the key of Db, a classic version, outdoors without good acoustics, in a subdued setting where she must sing softly. In singing, louder is not better, and you seperate the women from the girls with the higher notes.

Absolutely my favorite Christmas song. I'm 32 and heard sooooo many people attempt to sing this beautiful song. These two are by FAR the best.

I have not heard nor do I even know who Jackie Evancho is... however EVERYONE knows who Carrie Underwood is... hands down... not knocking Jackie, but I am definitely appreciative of Carrie's God given voice and talent.. I feel blessed just to hear her sing...

The rest of the world knows her as one of the youngest platinum debut artist.So go do your research and then come back and make your comment...or after your research you might even change your comment, if you really know music which i doubt.

Yea I don't think they are meant to be compared to one another. One is in her 20's and sings country, the other isn't even in her teens and sings classical crossover. Their styles are complete opposites but they are both angels

For me these are the 2 Best Female Vocalists today and both carry God close in their hearts.I have to correct the Uploader Jackie is not a Opera Singer she is a Classical-Crossover singer thats sings a few Opera Arias,Broadway Songs and Traditional Pop songs.She might one day decide to sing in a Opera but no plans on that to protect her voice.But its awesome and amazing to see these two wonderful vocalist in a clip.I hope one day they Duet together for real,

Both Carrie Underwood and Jackie Evancho are incredible artists, both singing praise to Our Lord. There is no competition here, neither is better than the other. They each bring a unique God-given talent and are both wonderful in their own right.
