  • I really love this pedal!!!

  • very very nice, indeed

  • Wampler SLOstortion VS Suhr Riot. Do you think whoever wins.

  • The thing that I love about wampler is that their ODs tend to loose control with the gain maxed. It kind of turns to mush, in a good way. Very much like an amp on 10, they have all the noise and nastiness.

  • Hey Burgs, what's MIAB? __ in a box I assume but I can't figure out the blank. I thought the mention of the Ethos might mean Dumble but I've never heard any D style pedal or amp sound this raunchy! Love it!

  • @MirrorAshes Marshall In A Box

  • excellent work sir, hats off to you!

  • Fantastic demo. But "notorious" means "well known for being bad", not good... you obviously meant the opposite about HiWatts!!!

  • Not a reproach Burg but you look damn tired or bored on this one...

  • What can I say? Fantastic demo, fantastic pedal, fantastic guitar, fantastic tone... and all of that in a Youtube video. Just excellent.

  • What model PRS is that?

  • I am generally not much of a distortion guy...but DAMN! That thing sounds great.

  • burgs, can you do a demo of the rockbox boiling point? there isn't a proper/in depth demo on youtube yet

  • @ironzeppelin44 I'd love to, but Rockbox declined my offer to do the same some time ago, just after it was released. I tried!

  • @Burgerman666 Strange, you sell me on pedals all the time, even though I can't afford any of them (yay college haha). You just sold me on what will be my 2nd wampler pedal =P

  • @Burgerman666 Well, that sure is RockBox's loss.

  • @FletchWhipp Heheh. Nah, I'm sure they don't give a toss about me. My gain, actually - less work! Cheers, B.

  • @Burgerman666 I wouldn't count on that. Put it this way, A lot more folks outside of Oz probably know who Burgs is a lot sooner than James Reyne (no offense to old mate) You'll be headling an AMAC convention just like Tommy if you keep soaring :) All good, cheers from CO, U.S.A.

  • @ironzeppelin44 - yes there are... PGS and gearmanndude have both done decent Boiling Point demos.

  • @stehay I'd say PGS's demo is more of an overview than a demo, and I don't really think most of gearmanndude's demos represent the true sound of the pedals

  • @ironzeppelin44 - that's interesting... I'm certainly not disagreeing with you but I would be very interested to know what geamanndude does to mis-represent the pedals he demos?

  • @stehay not exactly mis-represent; don't get me wrong, I like his demoes. I just feel like the sound quality on his videos is not quite up to par with that of PGS or Burgs

  • @ironzeppelin44 - ahhh yeah, I know what you mean. Thanks for explaining.

  • @ironzeppelin44 you can also youtube up ibanez tubescreamer

  • @ironzeppelin44 agreed

  • Great review. Great pedal!

  • Thanks for this Burgs nice one - do you know what would be a killer comparrison - the SLO and the Pinnacle Delux side by side through your Hiwatt - most of us cant afford all of Brian Wamplers pedals and have to make a choice - this is where i am stopped at - and i cant make my mind up - HELP - cheers S.P.

  • @slugpumper1 Sounds like a great idea!!! :)

  • Hey, Burgs, Nice demo. Could please tell me what's the angle on the headstock? People told me that it had a smaller degree. Is it true?

  • i love that you can use the boost with out the SLO engaged.

  • that pedal is pretty much the only thing you'd ever need.

  • That was awesome!!

  • That was awesome!!

  • I'm Still in love with your PRS ;-)

  • Thank you for the demo!

Is this pedal good for modern rock...? Does it have enough distortion...?

    Thank you for your reply!

  • You are one tone machine!Great demo.Thanks

  • Great Demo! How would this work out w/ a broken up/ tweed type amp? Does the amp have to be ultra clean? Thanks.

  • @guitarman2323 It's great, actually. I spent about 3 hours jamming it with a 5E3 and a Tele and I was astounded. When I get a few minutes spare I'll shoot a demo showing the same. Basically, though, you can back off the gain and up the mids for some seriously sweet tones. Reminded me a bit of the Ethos TLE, actually.

  • @Burgerman666 A demo of this would be great, especially for a lot of us that play live w/ our basic tone right at breakup using the guitar volume to clean it up. It would be cool to have this to kick in for those great Gov't Mule/Haynes tones and back to light breakup. Again, great demos all around.

  • Hi mate, which one do you prefer. This pedal or Triple wreck?

  • Nice job dude - another great pedal - this or the two button Pinnacle - it's a tough one - cheers S.P.

  • Hi Brett great clip as usual just wondering what cables you use and do cables make a big difference in the tone?

  • shit like all wampler distortin pedals !!!!

  • I thought this was going to be a PGS vid...

  • @Ilovemyfender2 Nope, but there will probably be one for them, too. I'll different guitars and amps for it.

  • Loved the playing especially around the one minute mark. Great sounds. I'm very tempted.

  • Burgerman you should do an EVH tribute with this pedal and the Charvel, that would be too epic to handle but i can sacrifice a computer for that video

  • @Karinmakoto you'll have to wait for his demo of the wampler pinnacle for that ;) that pedal nails the brown sound!

  • @aektzis91 I honestly never found the Pinnacle to nail the brownsound, /shrug

Btw Burgs has a couple of videos and even a shootout of two brown sound pedals

  • @Karinmakoto that shootout wasnt the fairest, the pinnacle's contour switch was set so that EQ was heaps scooped, so next to the 320design it sounded average. In other videos it sounds killer!

  • @Karinmakoto Heheh. I'm not nearly good enough for that sort of tribute. Doug Steele or Pete Thorn are probably better equipped, skill-wise. I just do a fairly rough version and have some fun. :)

  • @Burgerman666 Not Good Enough? You're the current King of Pedal Demos!

  • @Karinmakoto I AGREE! Damn, that pedal sure could capture that 90s EVH tone! Hope you can do one, Burgs!

  • Brett, you rock..!!

  • I've said it before and I'll say it again: Brian & Burgs, a winning combination.

Still dig the PRS. Is it still on loan or have you acquired it permanently?

  • @PMcG6 It's mine. I'm now an official "PRS Artist". That was a stroke of luck!

  • @Burgerman666 Yeah, lucky for them to have you. :o)

  • I can't believe how versatile it is. Usually a distortion pedal only sounds good driven hard, but this pedal sounds great all all gain settings.

  • Great demo, Burgs!!

  • Pure rock tone. This one is a real face melter.

  • Great demo Burgs. With your black clothes and backdrop, you should consider wearing a red clown nose.

  • @DIGTHEBIGRIGG1 I don't need to after a few reds... :P

  • Mines on the way to the UK at the moment.......

  • I like this distortion .

  • Simply astonishing and amazing. Best demo of this pedal to date, imho. Very versatile.
