Haircut - Blair buzzes his own hair in the bathroom

@haircutcenter I am a teenage boy with hair about half way down my ear. I want to buzz off my hair to a longer buzzcut but i'm afraid to because I might now like it. Also my girlfriend likes my long hair and doesn't want me to buzz it off. What should I do buzz it or keep it long?
