Religion can be a wonderful thing, and it can be a terrible thing. Jesus Camp shows some of the ugliest sides of religion. The thing to remember is that people who do this kind of thing would use another vehicle for their madness if they didn't have religion. The real problem is people.

i cant watch these kind of things where these kids are being brainwashed and. when you have kids standing in the middle of the road refusing to move until people repent! and kids as young as 1-2. kids that cant even talk yet with banners saying things like god hates fags and repent or die. its sickening and so overwhelmingly infuriating. their just as bad if not worse than the islamic extremists

Well, you have to see the film "Jesus Camp" or at least watch the trailer. The woman running the camp says in the film that she wants the kids she is teaching to be willing to die for Christianity the way that Muslims in Palestine were willing to kill for their faith, and I said that I think the world would be better off without more people willing to kill and die for believes they cannot prove.

When we talk about giving our life, we are not talking about killing others. We give our lives to love. This way Muslims can see. Our kids have never been confused about that. The kids (my kid is Levi in the film) make their own decisions about God. We don't use the idea of hell as a fear tactic.
