electrics will rewrite every record in the books, trust me on this one, they are so effiecent, compared to a combustion engines, which we will always love and have, but can't beat the electrics.Once battery technology catches up,there is no stopping the forward march
@DanFrederiksen As rude as you are... I was more pointing to the fact that Motoczysz had spent so much time and money developing the C1 for a MotoGP class that has 'essentially' been re-instated, that it would be a shame to waste all that effort in what would undoubtedly be a competitive machine. It's got to be good for publicity if nothing else.
100hp @15,000 rpm. System voltage is 480 volts (if I remember right). It makes 250ft-lbs of torque, and since it's an electric motor it's torque is constant from stall to full rpm. It is oil-cooled to maintain operating performace for a full day's run.
Did anyone notice that at the :04 mark there seems to be something making the thing sound more like a gas bike???

All very nice, but I think they should shelve all this electric pants and dust off the C1 ready for the 2012 MotoGP season !

@douro20 Its 48 volts. Not 480 :D For 480 volts we need many many batteries.
