@LordShandor i can stand a triangle for a long time and i don't need much time 2 seconds are more than enough to pull u up and then slam ur head and back down
@3terminatorgr How can you stand no blood to your brain? When a triangle is done properly you go to sleep in a few seconds. Sounds like you have never been in one. Like saying you can hang out in a baseball choke. And you can't lift them if they hook your leg and arch their back. You lose all your leverage.
@LordShandor stfu idiot u don't know how strong i am if u lock ur triangle on me I have around 5 seconds to escape ,in those 5 seconds or even less i can pull u up and slam ur head down and then u are the one getting knocked out . And i have been in a triangle and I know how it feels like , the only thing that i have discovered is that it is very dificult for ur opponent to lock a triangle and that I am powerful enough to lift u up and slam u down
@3terminatorgr It has nothing to do with strength dummy, why is it so hard for you to understand this? No amount of strength can lift the guy if he hooks your leg because he is physically obstructing you.
2 If he arches his back when you attempt to lift his upper body is moving away for you countering your lift. & that's assuming you can even get to your feet.
@LordShandor I have done this on many guys try this too it may help u .Just give it a try in training ,for me it is working if u don't understand that i can slam my opponents after they have locked the triangle then there is no need to continue this argument
Would this escape be a good transition into some kind of leglock? like, keep turning, throw your legs over their head, keep spinning and trap a leg, or would that be too high risk?
@Lewcykinz Not really into this move. You might, and I mean very low chance, be able to get a knee bar from that but then there other leg is right there to push off and escape. There is no point in doing such a risky move when you end up in a great position like side control. Position before Submission!
@a02theman Thanks for the reply! Much appreciated. I was just curious, I'm a JJ newbie, got my black belt in Karate 3 years ago and I'm just trying to step my game up and get into MMA. White belt JJ, just trying to learn some more advanced things early on to try and add more weapons to my arsenal
@toolbaggity123 Are you talking about the lined shirt? That is a tap out shirt. Having the greatest training gear is not going to make you any better.
that;s a really nice technique

Percentage goes down even further as soon as he hooks the leg and gets the angle. This is a good move, thanks for the post.

@3terminatorgr you can only lift if they have allowed you to stack them a bit or havent hooked the leg.

@kariya78 He went left when it is better to go right and put his weight on the chest of the opponent using the right knee. It is safer that way.
