the galactica had better missle defence weopons but the pegasus had a defence anit missle stystem it was better at long range attacks however in close quaters it fails because of its guns are mounted to face only side, forwards and under but no guns face upward, unlike the galactica where its weopons give the ship all round protection. btw iv played the battlestar galactica game and know its reakneses the pegasus is a better ship but only at long range.

Pegasus seemed to have some pretty heavy forward batteries we Galactica just had them multipurpose turrets.

Yes The Beast was technologically speaking, a far more advanced ship compared to The Bucket, and just may have the edge in a staight out fight, but it just didnt have the heart and soul that Galactica had. and on a personal note, i think Galactica is a far sexier looking ship than Pegasus
