Diana was a bit evasive about her age, but her birthday was the same as Schubert's - 31 January.

1905 is a possible birth-year - though I've also seen 1904 suggested.

She died on 12 March 1982.

@saltburner2 THE FACTS HAVE BEEN CLOUDED WITH THE YEARS. I HAD HEARD SHE WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH, BUT ON MY MEETINGS WITH HER, I FOUND HER CHARMING. I REMEMBER SITTING OUT IN HER GARDEN WITH HER EATING CHICKEN SANDWICHES WHICH HER MAID PREPARED FOR US AND TALKING OUT THE OLD DAYS, SHE HAD TEARS IN HER EYES.
