I am about 2/3 of the way through it myself and so far it's been a good read. This is such a silly conspiracy that it's laughable that people actually believe all of this. Paul McCartney IS ALIVE!
You've contradicted yourself. The Beastles themselves, along with their handlers, plastered these clues and allusion through everything they did and continued to do so afetr they split up. So by definition it can't be "silly", even if it did turn out to be a hoax, because the clues/allusions are there. So if it is "silly" then the Beatles themselves are silly, by your own logic.
The reason the butcher picture clue on Yesterday and Today doesn't work is because that LP was actually released in June 1966...at the very same time the fabs were on a world tour. So there is really no way it could be considered a death clue in any way...unless you wish to suggest they were prophesying...but that wouldn't go with the flow of the original story anyways. It just doesn't work...it's not a clue.

HappyShow, you get the clue on the Sgt Pepper's drum wrong(08:15). This isn't three ones as u say. It says 11 9 HE DIE, i.e.the date Paul died, reputedly the 9th of november.The first one is numeric, the second one is written, together being 11. Then IX in roman numerals meaning 9. 11 09, do you see?

I would guess that as soon as Paul and John heard this rumour, instead of outright denying it, they began to fabricate more clues within their work to support it. Must have been hilarious to them, and a further credit to the beatles genius.
This is yet another reason why they were, and still are, the greatest band in the world.

I'm sorry if the video hurt you. The video examined the "Paul Is Dead" rumor, myth, hoax, or whatever you want to call it. I did not create the hoax, nor do I believe it. But, it's been around since 1969, and I have always found it fascinating which is why I made this video for my public access TV show in 2003. Thanks!

If you'd like more insights into this urban legend, Mr. R. Gary Patterson has a book called "The Walrus Was Paul" where he details all of the clues. I am about 2/3 of the way through it myself and so far it's been a good read. This is such a silly conspiracy that it's laughable that people actually believe all of this. Paul McCartney IS ALIVE!

You've contradicted yourself. The Beastles themselves, along with their handlers, plastered these clues and allusion through everything they did and continued to do so afetr they split up. So by definition it can't be "silly", even if it did turn out to be a hoax, because the clues/allusions are there. So if it is "silly" then the Beatles themselves are silly, by your own logic.

The reason the butcher picture clue on Yesterday and Today doesn't work is because that LP was actually released in June 1966...at the very same time the fabs were on a world tour. So there is really no way it could be considered a death clue in any way...unless you wish to suggest they were prophesying...but that wouldn't go with the flow of the original story anyways. It just doesn't work...it's not a clue.

They did it to make more money on their records and for popularity. But i think most of it is because some idiot came up with a rotten theory which brain washed people to believe Paul was dead, take Strawberry Fields Forever for example, he clearly says "Cranberry Sauce", yet some twisted buffoon turned round claming it says "I buried Paul"... but people will only believe that because they are obviously listening to "Cranberry Sauce", but they're reading "I buried Paul"... hehe :)

Mmmmm, some clues really seem stupid and far fetched, but some are really interesting and seem to go perfectly well with the PiD rumor. But who cares, whether it was or not the real Paul McCartney from Sgt. Pepper's on he still did a pretty damn good job! Some people really believe that McCartney died and was replaced by a lookalike, while others believe that it was a hoax. I personally think the latter, and that it was just a cool and interesting marketing gimmick. I'm fascinated by the whole deal, which is why I made a video about it to begin with.
