No, this is the Villa Fontana that was in the Hemisfair Plaza right next to the arena. The Cameo is still down the street. I do recall seeing Metallica there for two dates on the "Ride the Lightning" tour. Not sure about S.A. Slayer being there, I think they were broken up by the time the Cameo became a hotspot. As for Pantera, I kindaa doubt that but I'm not sure.
What kills me about this band & video is the heaviness at which the crowd up front is getting into it & headbanging! I mean, Karion was a great band & very popular, but they weren't exactly the most "headbanging" type of metal out there, even in the early 80s. This just goes to show you the dedication and closeness of the awesome 80s meatl scene in Texas! It was an incredible, friendly, tight, connected and fun scene to be involved in! I see at least 2 people I recognise up front, wow!
