(I think you could have cleaned it up a little though, perhaps added some colour digitally and also put in some pop music during the quiet bits).

To be honest, I feel that Bukowski is nothing but an existentialist with an alcohol addiction and a silver tongue. Kerouac, Ginsberg, Keesey, even Burroughs...they wrote for something, believed in something. I am completely mesmerized by his uncanny grasp of reality. HOWEVER life is what you make of it. He said himself "it means nothing unless you want it to mean something". Guy does nothing but fuck whores, beat his wife, drink, and complains about the world's circumstances. DO SOMETHING.

First if we are talking of alcoholics Kerouac died from alcoholism, and what did he stand for again? Or believe in? Second bukowski "believed" in poetry, in which he was very passionate about (and wrote really well). I was going to write more on this but just not worth it.....

the source to bukowskis alcoholism could be traced to his teen years, he lived his teens during the big depression, the food was bad quality and very rare, the brain needs good healthy food, he started to get depressed, and used alcohol to fight it
