i got one in germany and it came with a mini blue-tooth dongle but it is a 1212 akoya basically the same as the 1210 (don't know what the diff is)

I've got this Netbook.

I got it from my local Aldi's.

I, personally, think it's a great little machine.

My Netbook came witha 160gb hard drive, instead of the 80gb, that this fella's machine did. :D

It probably has a 30 day trial. You can try Open Office which is free. And yes it's a very good computer for everyday tasks and writing in word. I have the MSI Wind but the Medion Akoya Mini is the same thing as he mentioned. I have no problems writing text in word or notepad.

Yes, it comes with Word Perfect as standard.

but c'mon now, why linux? maybe it's ok for a few users, but most of them don't even know how to use windows smoothly & they won't just go out and buy some new stuff, that will be completely different (yea, some things are the same, but you have to know, that people get confused if the icons on the desktop are in a wrong order!). So, don't always look @urself, but all from the selling prospective ;)
