  • seems more like a design than a concept.

  • Ugly

  • shouldve made it a deviation of a mag lev

  • where is the train? That is one single unit and it is not practical and it is ugly and WHY????

  • Just compare it with the Superbus designed by Technical Univercity in Delft, The Netherlands!...

  • Ummm

  • not so good looking future train.

  • Oh, and also that looks like really cool locomotive. That would be a sight to see.

  • although the design seems modern and futuristic the trains technology looks conventional

  • The Democrats under Obama will revolutionize public transportation in the United States and save billions of dollars in oil.

Gone will be privately owned cars and polluting jet airliners. We will enjoy the efficiency and convenience of taking the train.

  • fucking moron

  • Paulgreenfields is a Global Warming Denier.

Paul, you are intent on killing us all by refusing to acknowledge that our continuing use of dirty fossil fuels is remarkable in both its deeply rooted right wing talking points and its sheer lunacy

Capping carbon pollution will ignite the transition to clean energy, end our dependence on dirty fossil fuels, and put America on a path toward economic recovery. Public transportation is one of the steps we must take.

  • Yeah. So, why dont you take the already enviromentaly friendly and efficient train now? We have a perfectly good rail system that no one uses.

  • Not perfectly good: Tracks and Tunnels are in disrepair & expensive, given diminishing road tax, ect. The system is HEAVILY used but will NOT be able to keep up with projected Freight increase. Mass Tram America is the best City to City solution, IMO. Cable/Rail overhead - minimizes land issues.

  • obamas gonna screw the world up by hyperinflating the dollar on mega projects like these. wasnt it true that he wanted to spend 9 billion on a high speed train going from los angeles to disneyland?

  • Capping carbon pollution will ignite the transition to clean energy, end our dependence on dirty fossil fuels, and put America on a path toward economic recovery. Danotto9797 is refusing to see the necessity the radical programs our President is calling for. A cap on carbon pollution will create tens of thousands of good-paying American jobs that cant be shipped overseas. Now is the time for action. The economy cant wait. The climate crisis cant wait.

  • LOOOOOOL

  • Does zouless posses the intelligence to make an understandable comment?

  • If you don't understand "laughing out loud" thingy, that ain't my problem "intelligent man"

  • @torresd30 I see your comment was from 2 years ago. How's that going so far? (By the way, I'm pro freight and commuter rail and high speed rail.) Obama and the Dems are just like the Republicans and they do not have the tools to make these things a working, efficient, productive reality. Depending on them will get us nowhere. Obama = Bush = elite = NOT US. (Look at what Obama is doing in Afghanistan. They work for the international bankers and the corporate rulers, not We the People.)

  • @jefferwat1

The Republicans and the Tea Party have obstructed every good Democratic proposal to limit the production of green house gases and stifle the public transportation this country needs to pull itself out of our current economic conditions. Blame for not having high speed rail rests firmly at the feet of the the Republicans, the head stomping party of NO!.

  • @torresd30 The Replublicrats hijacked the Tea Party which started off as a good and productive liberty movement a few years ago. Green house gases are not the issue, and not even a realistic threat. Blame for not having high speed rail lies at the feet of corrupt politicians & judges for their actions 100 years ago, not the 1 party system of corporate cronies we have today. Obama & Bush are on the same team--look at the war. Read Edwin Black's "Internal Combustion," or watch "Taken for a Ride"

  • @jefferwat1 If jefferwat1 chooses to support the Tea Party, that is jefferwat1's problem. I choose to support the curtailment of greenhouse gases and the advancement of Public transportation. The right wing enriches themselves at the citizen's expense. I align myself with the Environmentalists who want to preserve civilization and contribute to the greater good. I want to advance the greater good even if it comes in part at my expense.

  • @torresd30 This is a joke, right?

  • @MyRsProgress MyRsProgrss, would you prefer that I follow the teachings of the conservative right wing and enrich myself at YOUR expense? How about I enrich only myself by polluting everyone's air and water?

Go ahead MyRsProgrss, line the pockets of your betters and receive nothing in return. After all, it is the lot in life for the ignorant that support the Republicans.

  • @torresd30 I honestly can't see a reason for me making that comment.. I don't remember making it, but, if i did, it probably had something to do with Obama... I'm narrow-minded and i'm not afraid to admit it; i just don't like Obama..

  • @MyRsProgress I see that thinking in the abstract is not one of your strong suits; typical for a conservative Republican.

  • @torresd30 Yeah, that's the idea. Thanks for further clarifying that for me, even though it was unnecessary. Now, go on about whatever you were doing; your insults aren't doing what they are intended to do, so your comments are useless.
