I have seen so many ways of getting to West Elizabeth and Mexico early. All of which have some kind of cost (getting arrested, not saving, risking death, etc.).

This was by far the easiest, safest, and most reliable way. Thanks!

For those who are having trouble getting back to West Elizabeth, here's an easy way. All you have to do is get there one time, then buy the property at Manzanita. From there, you can take the stagecoach to Thieves Landing (provided you hit "skip to destination"), and the stagecoach WILL work the same way back to Manzanita. I've tested it and it works.

i did it once and get the american standardbred early, then when i am trying to go west elizabeth again, it doesnt work no matter how many times i tried, weird enough. i play this game in offline mode, so i havent install any new patch for the game.

On the patched PS3 version, getting into West Elizabeth this was does NOT work.

this is odd, the one that gets us in Mexico early works but the other doesnt....>_> I went to that exact spot and looked down the river and camped....and nothing happend. It kept me on the same side...I did it like 5 times and nothing worked.

this is awsome it works XDD I ended up finishing the survivor rank that wants you to get the prickly pare, I ended up getting them all using this method, and of course unlocking the Poncho early hahaha...also I did a bounty down there that was worth 400 xD Eeeasy money

Having a problem... I can get into and out of Mexico just fine, and I know I can get OUT of West Elizabeth, but I've tried many times and just can't seem to make it INTO West Elizabeth. Every time I try to make camp in the river it just pops me right back onto that little hill that leads down from New Austin to that creek. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

@xXBLACKINDYXx Thanks, and yeah thats true too but you can get the Rare Horses early and other more powerful weapons early and kill the animals for money and trophies
