I believe that Lifehouse's songs aren't exactly about God. They sing it in such a way that it could be related to a friend, a family member, a girl/boyfriend or God. "You" doesn't have to mean God. Personally, when I hear this song, I think about my girlfriend, and a few other friends of mine. Others may think of God.

Lifehous eis a Christian band and many of there songs are about God, but some are about relationships. I think this one is about a relationshipbecause he says, "And iiii will get lost into you eyes." And you can't see God's eyes so i think its about a relationship.
