If you have any programming knowledge learning another language will be easier. Remember, fundamentally programming is the same, you're learning the syntax.
Even if you learn Javascript first you will recognize the similarities between this and C++, Java ect. This is a lot simpler though.
if you know how to program, problem solve and write a pseudocode, then learning another programming language is a breeze. I'm just basically fast forwarding/skipping these videos since I already know java and C. Learning javaScript since bucky told me to learn them before I move on to HTML5. Anyway, thank you sooo much BUCKY! You're the man! I'll donate few hundred bucks after I graduate in May and get a real job.
Luckily Bucky's so good at explaining things that when he does make a little mistake, it doesn't actually confuse people haha. In fact it's reassuring that we know what we're doing when we spot it lol.
Can someone please tell me wheather i should learn web based programming languages or should i go with software programming...... im having a hard time deciding :)
@ipodhackskid Depends what you want to do! If you want to create sweet websites or a social network or something along those lines, web design, of course. If you want to create games, desktop applications, etc. then definitely go with software programming. Hope I helped :D
@ipodhackskid I try to balance both, but in my opinion, HTML, CSS, and Javascript are easier. See, I can't program a game for my life with the JDK, which is only one language, but I can make pretty pro websites, using HTML CSS and Javascript. And I invested about the same amount of time into each. I would find which language comes to you easiest, and learn it first, make a couple hundred bucks from it, then start learning thhe other language, while still knowing the other language.
@ipodhackskid the advantage of knowing javascript, html and css nowadays is that there are programs out there that you can take web design knowledge and create mobile applications. PhoneGap is one of the good ones I know of but there are few out there...check em out
asif you moved past math without talking about rounding. Thats all i been watching for, please someone make a tutorial on rounding? no fucker has one. Just need to see the right syntax as i cnt remember lol. Good tutorials anyway mate. nice one
@LionFame Learn by experimenting, + I've never read 1 single book about web-development. W3Schools is a really good start, and the W3C reference if you can get used to it.

This is great tutorial Bucky,but i think that you should make something like
if((blue==red)==true){ document.write("i love hotpockets");
}
or
if((blue==red)==false){ document.write("i love hotpockets");
}
...
because of the people who meets with if/else statement for the first time.

I like that you review the lesson at the end. Some people might not like it, but it really helps in remembering this stuff. :)
