ISAY...DO NOT!!!! join the union unlesss your daddys daddys blah blah third gen IBEW.If you are honest and hard working they WILL screw you!!!No one gets to work unless you are connected.The training however is good.I have 13 yrs. now and am looking to jump ship at the first opportunity!!!.This org.is rotten and corrupt from the top down.Electricians are some of the biggest pricks you will ever meet.Pick a different trade or work non union.bigots and nepotism prevail!!.

who are they comparing wages, job security, and retirement to? a lot of non union companies offer great wages, insurance, etc. it seems like no one in this video really knows why union is better than non union. i want to know the pros and cons of both because i have been considering going union, but this video doesn't really answer any of my questions.
