I know I'm way behind most Battlefield fans but this game was my first taste of the Battlefield series. I fell in love with the large maps, vehicles, and most of all the destructible environments. And Wake Island is a genius design for conquest. I wouldn't mind seeing it re-vamped on the Frostbite2 for Battlefield 3.

lol i love this game once i was playing on wake island and the airfield got captured and i was falling back to the little village and then i saw a tank coming and i took cover in a crater from a bomb and surprisingly the tank driver didn't see me for some weird reason then a soldier ran by and didn't see me either it was funny,its amazing what a small piece of cover can do

Well, my PS3 started freezing when playing disc games so I went back and started playing this and I'm hooked again. Wish they'd revamp it by creating a map pack for it. Even if just one map!

@jayekaiser yeah, i loved it in bf2 and 1942, but was afraid it would translate bad into bc2s more paced inf combat(being exposed for long times when traversing open terrain because a dick decided to taxi the blackhawk) but when i see the 1943 version it looks as if though it could be one of the better maps, id really like to see gulf of oman(size 16) and somewhat altered version of sharqi peninsula

Frustration comes from playing nothing but Bad Company 2 all the time. Then you go to this game and have to remap your brain to the controls again. Great video as always and a nice change in scenery.

@blizzard424 Yeah you have unlimited ammo, grenades, rockets etc. The grenades and rockets have a sort of "cool down" once you use them all.

I just can't get used to the controls on this game. Especially when I'm engineer. It goes like this. "Okay, I'm going to switch weapons and shoot you in the face!" *takes out wrench.... "Okay, I'm going to waggle this in your general direction until you notice and shoot me in the face instead."
