  • THE CIRCLE OF LIFE-6-6-6 OF THE WORLD

  • una historia inolvidable!

  • we must preserve the ways of our Indian brother as they lived in harmony with mother earth as we now destroy our planet with no regards for what will happen when it is too late.

  • The latinos here will forever be Latinos not Americans because they have their box as you all do. The blacks will be blacks, the Asians Asians and they there the other box. America is their birthplace but they will never be considered Americans but hispanics other cultures as noted so where do they belong? There passports to travel say America but their box gives people a heads up.

  • Even rotten apples have a purpose, they become compost. Everything rots eventually if not well preserved serves nature and even the world welcomes it. You just have to find the purpose, and have patience to preserve it.

  • i agree with fawjaw; it is not the white man who destroyed the wonderful world of the native american. it was christianity! the same way islam destroyed so many wonderful cultures. abraham is the culture killer.

  • @gchpzh would it not be also true, that each creed or religious ideology built upon priesthoods of various guises, brotherhoods and secret alliances controlled for an arch or centralised point.

Why so many burned books, what occurred during the so called dark ages. NO thing is what it seems aside from the roundness described in the circle and the ever present cycles and seasons.

I suspect that these things are the captivity that seeks to blind us all from Yahweh, the great mystery.

  • AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET US FREE

  • You know, the old people would always start a prayer by thanking Great Spirit for the Great Mystery. Sending these distorted messages or smart remarks that aren't strong in their foundation does not cause a more clear perspective, it just changes it in an incalculable direction.

The time came and went and now it comes again. What we do is our collective choice. Hopefully we act wisely and truthfully, for if not, the wretchedness will fulfill it's potential and bring havoc to the mother Earth. L

  • smoke the tobacco and your hate will go away

  • We will all be known by the tracks we leave behind...

  • @rsouthern : No Native American who is educated (knows what is going on) would become a Christian. Who do u think the remnants mentioned in Revelation are? In old testament chapter of Malachi a message 2 Native Americans about being purified by fire is there. It is mandatory for all Native Americans 2 be atheists. Think it is all nonsense. Read about the time machine in Malachi. Write chemtrails conspiracy n above search box.

  • @samsnames listen southern do not say we OGLALA LAKOTAS are atheists thats white people

shit!!!!!! we never knew of such a thing we took care of the land that GOD you know are GREAT SPIRIT

the one who gave us life and land so rember you say you read the old testament so remember this

if you are a person of GOD dont juge the people of old cause thats the way GOD wanted US.

  • @lishes43 U my friend the natives i find the most intelligent people out there im from Egypt and i see natives to have the perfect message of god without even prophet, u understood nature and how everything works the perfect way. our prophet gave the perfect massge also but as soon as his soul rest in peace, ppl changed everything, we need to learn alot from Natives, peace brothers, stay strong and im feeling pretty soon u will have all ur rights

  • He was such a wonderful man and even more becouse he let to write this book where we can imagine and live through how it was back then in these times which were cut to never let them be...

  • The Ancestors remind us of who we are and how we connect to the Creation around us. We as human beings need to be reminded that we are part of the Great Mystery of life. We are not the most important just because we have reason of the mind. It is only part of who we are as total beings. Now try to convince an Eagle or a Bear how to be a better living being in Nature. Tell them why it is so important to think like a self-centered human being. Because we can drive a car? Create wars?

  • ♥ O ♥ SERENITY LOVE ♥ O ♥ & LIGHT :) ♥ O ♥

  • The Ancient Celts held similar beliefs. And, like the Native Americans, their lands were taken by invaders. Of course, they were a warrior race, but still, they too lost their homes and lands. I get this and wish more people shared this view.

  • I close my eyes and envision the natives, free and living off the lands. With horses, teepees, and kids running happily. I can almost feel what it would be like. I get SO happy just thinking about it, but also very sad because it is no longer like this. I cannot picture a native in a white mans world, it CANNOT be. They lived in thier ancient ways for thousands of years, and only just recently 100 or 200 years ago were forced out of thier heart. you can bet there is still ALOT of nature in them.

  • when i was 7 i was told i could be a brownie but my best friend could not because she was jewish. we became bluebirds/campfire girls and so began my love for native indian culture.

  • See Their Knowing Wise The medicine man who evokes nature and spirit The wise one that looks to the cycles of the seasons and the stars The children pure in their joy, in their love, in their reverence for life Let us anew see their knowing wise Let us not in illusion hold to deception and demise The Great Circle knows it so very well This Orb within heart love's answer to dwell. Rose Marie Raccioppi APOGEE Poet
  • We did not destroy them ourselves but its allways the same old story. We have allways killed without provacations as we will allways do untill we take a good look at whom we are and what we want from life and the world. All other points are moot!

Even in a so called civilized age where we have so many laws to protect we are still taking the lives of the inocent. we just needed to put out a hand of friendship to them and theres. Maybe they could have changed how we looked at the world.

  • the ways are still strong on my rez. sundances, sweat lodges, pow wows and strong sence of the past. lets not lose our balanced thought in a mask of apathy. we were always a strong people and will remain to be.

    poso

  • This man was a Christian for half his life and led more than 400 people to Christianity I bet that info isnt known by many "traditionalist" indians. look it up and open your eyes.

  • Beautiful! Peace. *~*

  • wow that was a wild experince for me. seeing this video

  • Yeah man I am Oglala Lakota and I was driving around north minneapolis the other day. I said to my sister, dang you look around there is lots of black people here lots of latinos there lots of white people everywhere else and so forth but, dang where are all the native americans? Then my sister said well, the whites tried to destory us entirely through genocide. This is why there are so few of us now.

  • @ArcturiusfireW Sorry, I would have stopped them if I were alive!

  • @ArcturiusfireW I am tsalagi myself. Yeah, it's terrible what the europeans did and are still doing, but, we have to fight back, we are still being killed off. rivers where free salmon spawn are being dammed in north Washington, we are getting less and less land to live on, and the bullshit casinos now are the only thing that represent our culture to the masses. This all must change.

  • @ArcturiusfireW Try lookin' on the res. I get that some folks still feel like their cultures and traditions are threatened. But Dang! Leave the res once in a while! There's some of us poor whites who'd like to learn the old ways and make amends!

  • @ArcturiusfireW ...And I am very sorry for that, for what my own ancestors did to yours. I hope for and dream of a time when we can all live in peace, as one nation. My love to all.

  • @ArcturiusfireW : Looks like the Lakota people will now have to teach us before we kill ourselves (really). We know how to be smart, be do we know how to be wise? For instance, to build a nuclear reactor you have to be smart and unwise at the same time.

  • watch?v=n5nmkXK4qZw

  • i may not be of the same tradition and may not adhere to the same philosophy as native american but i find these full of poetry and wisdome.

Such a pity with people destroyed much of a culture that was only making our world richer and more beautiful. what a pity.

  • wow

  • Do you want to make a difference? There are a lot of bits you won't like - like take an honest look at your gasoline habit and who profits and oh, I only pollute a little bit, I could never take the bus or treat other species as an equal...the list is infinite...

  • Black Elk imbued the timeless wisdom of the ancient peoples as an old soul passing through the ages.

  • these are words of divine wisdom

  • at last i meet the elk, hey nicholas, not many know of you and your spirit, have asked and asked among indians they refuse to show me their hearts as which they themselves opens.. black elk i bet all if you started to tell me i could follow what you told me, but people are cowards as seen for 1000 of years but at last i meet you as wanted.. beautiful flute, you know me i allways get stimulated listen to it.. 10 stars from hear if you still like red and blue. we don´t do black.

  • bc your impatience and we dont tolerate impatience..you cant just get what you wish like a spoil child that american capitalism has taught you but if you come with patience youll get your wish.....wado

  • Very beautiful.

  • I just read Black Elk Speaks and now I am totally and utterly depressed... It's such a sad story. It makes me embarrassed of my own heritage.

  • Don't be depressed. What happened to the Native Americans is now going to happen to the American people - we did not destroy the Native Americans - it was the wicked evil powers that be on this planet. If everyone would follow what these Native Americans followed it would be a wonderful world. We just need to get rid of all the rotten apples and theres boatloads of those in this world.

  • Wise words indeed.

    Rotten to the core.

  • @fawjaw So Very True :) Namaste' Peace love and light x

  • @fawjaw we are all reflections of one another. True brother hood and a connection with nature and all life and the creator is the native way, not revenge. Live in the present and be positive and caring.

  • @fawjaw You are incorrect. Most of the Native American people were warring people who stole horses from other tribes (their "enemy") and they killed members of other tribes for no cause whatsoever other than to get scalps and prove their "manhood" and "bravery." The Native Americans were and are no wiser or more peaceful than any other group of people.

  • @AlShaddai

Most often it is not every individual person who holds vibrations of peace, and thus, who lives in accordance with it. Do not get me wrong, because we all have capacity to be in this way. It is true what you say, that some peoples who lived on the Americas were very violent. That said, there is a key tenancy in many of their spiritual teachings that is vibrating highly with connection to nature and hinting at all of humanity's possibility for love and vibrant life - not fear and war.

  • @AlShaddai Naw, Native Americans grew up. Whites need to do the same.

  • @fawjaw Thats the best thing I've read on youtube in a few years, your message is a good omen I believe =) Peace to you and all who find the same in your message, and hope for those who have not heard it.

  • @fawjaw One cannot separate the "wicked evil powers" from the people who perpetuate the crime. The hearts of countless immigrants to this country were turned by capitalism and the pursuit of resources. When you say, "we did not destroy the Native Americans", you may be actually saying you personally. This is probably true. But if you meant white Americans, then you are wrong. We did destroy the Indian's way of life. The goal is not be to get rid of the rotten apples, but to help them see.

  • @fawjaw Well said...there's a bigger Wisdom to all of this that we miss when we focus on anger...we need to tune into the Power of Restoration that we have, along with Mother Earth, to restore Justice by changing how we live...it's always available to us through the beauty of choice. We do not have to choose the destructive and ego-filled ways. Change this world by changing your mind and your lifestyle...get balanced and you'll help Life to go back to Balance. Kill your television. :)

  • @meloearth kill the television, educate yourselves, and get back to living closer to the earth, worrying about what we ruin when we rape the earth of resources, striving always to put back more than what was taken, cut a tree and plant two,,,this is what we must strive to do,,,,,

  • @pugdogy YES!

  • @pugdogy I agree totally. I planted 7 trees where there were none.

  • i know this a darker comment to this wonderful video but i was wandering if the american loving people here knew about the american indian steraliztion the the u.s government ordered?in the late 60s i believe it was to men and women w/o their consent

  • Black Elk gave us words of wisdom! We are all Angels of humanity variations in circle perimeter yet a circle at the base line, the circle represents the journey we take together, humanity in all its beauty! The words express faith, love & compassion for self, others & the earth, for we are one and the same!

  • BreshiBaraElohim is a piece of shit.

  • Yes ,circles are strong and beautiful.

It always surprises me that even flowers and other plants around houses say more when they are in circles.

  • The Teepee is a perfect circle to live in, I have, & one day hope to be able to get a Teepee to live in again.these houses we call home are like graves for the living dead made of stone cut into sqare's thanks to master masons.

  • thanks this is great from one medicine man to another
