Also, if you test the battery level, the helicopter cuts out (flashing green light) after only using about 25% or so of the battery's full charge. So when you recharge it, it just tops it up over and over. A good way to know how long to charge it is that the charger is 7.2v, 250mah, so if the battery is 500mah, you charge (500/250)*1.1 = 2.2 hours. But since you are just topping it up each time, charge only a third of this.

i believe I have the 807 model of this Huan Qi rc helicopter. Someone gave it to me for free. The 500mah nimh battery it came with only gives me 4 minutes flying time. I believe it was overcharged, so I bought another 400mah battery, and I only get 3 minutes flying time out of the new battery. This helicopter is garbage all around; good thing it was free.

i like the heli but it has one - pont the charge is to slow i MUST w8 4 hours!!! and runs for 6 min ?!?!?

There are no parts avaliable. Buy Easycopter or other 4-channel double rotor heli better.

I just got one, wondering how u got the light to be off all time, mine either wanna fly up or down, im still learning, but seems cheap electric helis not very consistent, but good indoor fun,

i've bought this heli and it flies very bad, it's loosing signal after almost a meter of distance, when i loose and straighten antena on heli and fuly extract antena on transmiter i can move about 2M from it looses signal and green led go off and when i come near again about 1M it lits again and everything works .sometimes the distance is smaller.on your video your heli flies stedyly all the time, my lifts of the ground and when it go out of range of 1-2 meters it just falls dn

I have the exact same problem with mine...

i have the same helicopter but it only runs for like 30seconds then shuts the blades off. lights still flash but blades do nothing. I charged it for the 2.5 hours... any ideas whats going on>?

I think you need to buy other/better helicopter. Spare parts for Huan Qi toys are unavailable.

it's very cheap helicopter, if you have damaged receiver or fuselage, it will be better to buy new helicopter ..

I bought this heli, it flies well but..

I left it charging for 5 hours (!!) and the charger still had the red light on...

does it change colour after the charge is done ? How I can check if it's fully charged ?

How much time I must leave it charging ?
