Yeah ebay sucks. You are basically a slave for them. Example- I sell a 34.99 item 12.99 shipping. With pay pal and ebay fees it costs me 6.30 to sell it. A buyer comes back one month later and wants a refund. All the buyer has to do is say is that it doesn't match description. Ebay forces me to refund the buyer including the shipping. So now I am negative -19.30 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The buyer assumed the item was a different size despite the fact that I listed detailed size and measurements. She got the package and was very upset it was something other than what she thought. The buyer is now demanding I refund her money, original shipping AND return shipping. Now I'm afraid she's going to hurt my feedback rating.

One buyer said my item I sent was cracked and it wasnt. Another guy wants a 10 day refund with a 7 day refund on the listing. These buyers are nuts these days. I guess thats why everyone isn't accepting returns now lol
A jerk by the ID icevoloto gave me spurious ned and then said she would reverse it IF I refunded her -- and let her keep the doll she bought! Ebay tried to tell me there was nothing they could do, but after going thru 3 reps they opened an investigation. the icevoloto neg was removed. This creep has private feedback, so I put my negative feedback of her on Facebook. Now, if you put her ID on Google search, you can see my neg for her. put stipulations in your auction or emails that cover yourself. For example: no returns unless defective, buyer responsible for return shipping. This way, you don't get the people complaining about defective items unless they really are dicks or it really is defective. Nobody is going to want to pay for return shipping.

I shipped the item, he received the item the next day and later on that day he leaves me a neg. "Nice phone. Bad shipper." eBay refused to remove THAT neg. What is eBay's CS #? I can't find it.
i quit paypal last year after i sold a perfectly good laptop for $450, only to have the buyer do a chargeback WITHOUT notifying me of any problems FIVE WEEKS LATER! needlees to say paypal sided with him and had him send the item back altought i was against it since it could have been damaged in such a long time, needless to say paypal did not care. as soon as it arrived they refunded him all the $, not asking me if it was damaged! Luckly it was fine, but this was enough to have me running.

I like your vids Crazynydriver. I'm a seller and a buyer with 260 positives, but God knows how I've managed that LOL. Paypal did screw me over though,. When I bought stuff, it took money out of my positive pp account as well as taking money out of my personal bank account. It did it 4 times until I noticed, and therefore I paid TWICE, then DENIED it did anything wrong. Good job they were only for small amounts a couple of £, I just gave up pursuing the matter! I never get bad feedback removed even if I have video proof the buyer is lieing, or prove them embarrassingly wrong with other proof like I responded to their emails within 30 minutes when they say no communication in my feedback and I give a link showing I communicated. That is as a seller, as a buyer they always side with the sellers when I open cases as well, so I always get dicked over whether I am buyer or seller.

But yet, if you violate a silly policy (like telling sellers of forgeries that they are selling fraudulent autographs) Ebay will go out of its way to send you an email telling you that you violated a silly policy and then threaten to suspend you. I ebay in Australia and we have to have Paypal mandatory as a payment option which is super crap as most people just pay instantly and you lose massively in fees. Had a couple of buyers not pay for items and have opened/closed cases on them, they have stayed quiet - but am I able to leave them neg feedback still if they havent left feedback and I have closed the case, and would you reccomend this? I had a response to earlier item sales in which the buyers paid via Moneygram money orders which turned out, according to Moneygram, to be fraudulent. Moneygram, however, seemed unconcerned about following up on Moneygram counterfeiting, despite my several calls.
I had a buyer this past week claim that an item was used and damaged, which it wasn't. So used and damaged that he set it up and started using it! He sent me a message demanding $50 or he would leave neg feedback. I told him what that was called. He got angry and sent me another stupid message and every third word was "cuz". It was so stupid I almost had a seizure after reading it.

It's been 2&1/2 years that JHoe has fucked up ebay.Quite frankly I an surprized that there still is an ebay. I still buy, but I've noticed that there aren't as many sellers with what I want, and not that much bidder competition, I often win with the only bid. I still cannot understand why sellers start with an opening bid of like 1$? But I don't mind when I win cheap. And ebay loses out when the final bid is so low.
@umajunkcollector maybe it's free insertion or maybe they don't have any faith in the item selling because. the insertion fee can mount up if having to relist. some sellers try to make their money on the P&P but it's risky because usually the buyer is a moron who will complain about high P&P even if they get the item for 0.99, or screw with your DSR ratings. It's bizzare because they never have a problem with P&P until after they read the auction, bid, win and recieve the item.

Dude I bought a pair of Oakleys from a seller on ebay for 55 dollars. Then he writes me back and says that he won't be able to send me the Oakleys because the guy he bought them from screwed him. Now about my money, he says that he transferred all the money to the guys other paypal account. So now where is my money? haven't really had the time to look for these type of ebay vids. but again, I've honestly never had an issue since Jan '05 with my feedback begin at 100%.
I just started selling again and got my first unjustified neg and am LIVID.
This is what I get for following the rules answering emails in a timely and very politely manner? I'm flabbergasted. This woman claims that I was hateful and hard to work with. It saddens me. Ebay has changed a lot. No protection for the Sellers AT ALL.

I ended 161 auctions todays because of two scam buyers over the labor day weekend. One bought two inkjets then complained about one not working and told me he was returning both (now used) for a full refund. I gave him a full refund and told him to keep (using) them. The other confused media mail with priority. He paid for and was shipped his item priority and it arrive in two days. He then told me unless I gave him his money back he would neg me, which he ended up doing because I refused

well this is why i wont never sell on ebay cause of the hassle and ebay is a ripoff site i tried craigslist(which is free) but all i got there was spam emails the one thing i dislike about ebay is they charge you a load of money to sell something in my opinion it should be free instead of 25 bucks to list a car for sale or 15 bucks to list an item etc i personally am gonna stick to dealing locally in the local paper less hassle that way

After digging through the required automated forums that led me from one irrelevant non-solution to the next for nearly an hour I was finally given ebay’s coveted “customer service” number with a pin code I had to use in 15 minutes before it expired causing me to have to repeat the forum dig all over again. After nearly 2 hour hours and 11 transfers; on hold for 90% of that time. I gave all my info to the rep (for the 11th time) and told him fix it or my attorney will. That's what it takes.

You are so right. I have almost the same story. I sold a carpet on eBay, the buyer paid it first with PayPal, picked up the carpet, went home, gave me a Negative Feedback, and cancelled the money on PayPal. so she had the Item, didn't pay for it and left a negative feedback. I have contacted eBay, PayPal, the buyer no one can help me and she is not willing to remove the feedback. should we STOP using PAYPAL?????

I like your vids Crazynydriver. I'm a seller and a buyer with 260 positives, but God knows how I've managed that LOL. Paypal did screw me over though,. When I bought stuff, it took money out of my positive pp account as well as taking money out of my personal bank account. It did it 4 times until I noticed, and therefore I paid TWICE, then DENIED it did anything wrong. Good job they were only for small amounts a couple of £, I just gave up pursuing the matter! Keep the gr8 vids coming mate.

keep the vids coming screw the email haters! i never thought ebay would charge the card you use to pay them if they cant hold funds on paypal if your using propay. maybe i should order a new card every so often so they cant charge that account!

A few questions for you:
1. What kind of garbage do you sell?
You are always complaining about non-paying buyers.
2. How do you expect to do well on eBay without accepting PayPal? It is like trying to sell on eBay WITHOUT selling on eBay. It seems ridiculous.
3. If eBay is not working for you, why do you keep going back to sell on there? Why not try Amazon or your own website? You keep complaining about it, and you also keep going back.

I never get bad feedback removed even if I have video proof the buyer is lieing, or prove them embarrassingly wrong with other proof like I responded to their emails within 30 minutes when they say no communication in my feedback and I give a link showing I communicated. That is as a seller, as a buyer they always side with the sellers when I open cases as well, so I always get dicked over whether I am buyer or seller.

Great video as always, Crazy. Ebay goes out of its way to protect deadbeat buyers, scammers and sellers of forgeries. But yet, if you violate a silly policy (like telling sellers of forgeries that they are selling fraudulent autographs) Ebay will go out of its way to send you an email telling you that you violated a silly policy and then threaten to suspend you. This happened to me and I replied "Why don't you go after the fraudulent sellers instead of silly policy breakers." Pathetic Ebay

Great video, keep them coming. Great information and educational. I ebay in Australia and we have to have Paypal mandatory as a payment option which is super crap as most people just pay instantly and you lose massively in fees. Had a couple of buyers not pay for items and have opened/closed cases on them, they have stayed quiet - but am I able to leave them neg feedback still if they havent left feedback and I have closed the case, and would you reccomend this? What happens after case closed?

i dont blame you for not using that ripoff flagship called paypal and not using it one way or another.i stopped using it myself and found that my transactions were so much easier that way as opposed to using paypal..not to mention the money i saved by not using their "recommended" service.and that crap about 100 percent protection is just that,CRAP..but i dont use ebay at all now and have a lot less headaches due to that.

I had a response to earlier item sales in which the buyers paid via Moneygram money orders which turned out, according to Moneygram, to be fraudulent. Moneygram, however, seemed unconcerned about following up on Moneygram counterfeiting, despite my several calls.

I had a buyer this past week claim that an item was used and damaged, which it wasn't. So used and damaged that he set it up and started using it! He sent me a message demanding $50 or he would leave neg feedback. I told him what that was called. He got angry and sent me another stupid message and every third word was "cuz". It was so stupid I almost had a seizure after reading it.

It's been 2&1/2 years that JHoe has fucked up ebay.Quite frankly I an surprized that there still is an ebay. I still buy, but I've noticed that there aren't as many sellers with what I want, and not that much bidder competition, I often win with the only bid. I still cannot understand why sellers start with an opening bid of like 1$? But I don't mind when I win cheap. And ebay loses out when the final bid is so low.

@umajunkcollector maybe it's free insertion or maybe they don't have any faith in the item selling because. the insertion fee can mount up if having to relist. some sellers try to make their money on the P&P but it's risky because usually the buyer is a moron who will complain about high P&P even if they get the item for 0.99, or screw with your DSR ratings. It's bizzare because they never have a problem with P&P until after they read the auction, bid, win and recieve the item.

Dude I bought a pair of Oakleys from a seller on ebay for 55 dollars. Then he writes me back and says that he won't be able to send me the Oakleys because the guy he bought them from screwed him. Now about my money, he says that he transferred all the money to the guys other paypal account. So now where is my money? I called paypal and ebay and opened a case, they say that I might have a chance to get money if the seller responds.
