i already said that, but this soundtrack was so good as unexpected. probably one of the best ofthe decade, if not THE best one. It's epic, various...in one word, amazing.

And the game is perfect.

Christmas 2007... I switch on my Wii, only a year old and waiting patiently for a truly excellent game to be put into it. The SMG logo rams itself right onto my TV as that beautiful music plays. "Is that... could it be? Is this game ORCHESTRATED?!

As I continue through the game, I find that I am right. The music is fully orchestrated.

I think to myself, "This is gonna change everything."

Hardly. Brawl improved on everything Melee had and added things after that. Sure Brawl might not have made the best online or single player mode, but it had pwnsome music and great fluency.

Melee makes the game seem so dark and lonesome.

I like the way you put it. Melee does make the atmosphere dark and mysterious. Brawl fixed that. It fixed a few things and added a ton, more than I ever imagined would fit on a disc.

The one and only true failure that makes the game seem wanting, is the slower physics engine. If only they had kept the quick, edgy, precise action from Melee, it would have been true win.
