I'm glad they have the Houston Family Arts Center, but you'd think that a place with such decent facilities would also have better performances. Sure, not everyone can be top notch, but you gotta wonder. If anyone can shed light on my thoughts, that would be great. No matter what, I feel this specific performance really lacked a lot and really brought out the amateur in the performance more than it should have.

hsm is compared to grease. boy and girl meet over vacation and end up going to the same school summer nights-start of something new we go together-were all in this together grease-wildcat cheer(onstage) getcha head in the game-grease lightning hopelessly devoted to you-when there was me and you the characters too kenicke-chad rizzo-taylor(nicer, since it is disney) patty simcox-sharpay and despite their similarities my community theater group did both back to back. but both were still really fun

That's ridiculous. No one in the show can sing. Rarely does anyone sing in key. ESPECIALLY Troy.  Our schools production of this is currently in the works and we already sound better then all of them. Poor effort

It's not supposed to sound like the movie, they dont actually sing and dance in the movie, they dance and play back the music.

In doing this musical right not with a local theatre, and its hard to sing and dance...personally im good at it, but they did well.

And by the way, that is the suggested tempo for this song, its not fast at all.
