any idea on how to get rid of rust spots here and there on forks & frame? I got a 98 F3 which looks great and needs some tlc but I hate rust with a vengeance..
been looking for a decent bike to start on and i think i might actually pick one of these up... what do they usually run to (miles wise) before they finally croak over?
@suckaniggasdick yea i know that but im asking whats the typical milage before one would get to putting too much money for the return worth. like most cars now days. you can run them to 250k miles with out engine swap etc... thats what im asking hahah and Suck. love the vids man
I wanted this bike bad back in 96. but now it doesn't look as great as the new CBR's the body is not as smooth and aerodynamic. But the Color scheme is still real nice..
weird, the front fairing says F3, but the rear ones says f2, The F3 rear fairings are more elongated then the one F2 have. But yours look like F2 rear fairings.... anyways nice bike dude!
frankizzo is just trying to talk mad shyt cuz his peter is about an inch long. so let him talk his shyt and think he's bigger than everybody else. he's just another "organ donor"
I agree with fandigas on some parts about just stunning no your right its about riding i dont have back pains. took my bike from cali to tenn. I mean I'm not just a stunner i also am a canyon rider but back to the seat..... it look like shit and that bike is a girls bike on my behalf lmao oh and gsxrgeorge race my old shit bet your face shield will eat my rubber the 900 isnt my only bike ... i also own a 07 cbr 1000 .
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
oh I do but my grip is my 900 rr fireblade dont get me wrong the bike is ok but the bananna seat ? come on everyone knows bananna seats look shitty dude try to stunt in Los Angeles with that bike for sure your gonna be the life of the party and made fun of .....real men ride over 750 600's are for rookie's and girls ha!
i love this bike i have the same exact one. my friend has the same bike too buhrrito and hes like 5.5 and he fits on it, his toes just touch the ground...
i got it fixed, i charged the battery and ran it for just for a few seconds, and the regulator rectifier was burning hot, changed it and it works fine!, but thanks for the imput.
hello, i have a 96 cbr600f3 same as this, and my bike will no longer recharge itself, if i charg the battery the bike will last for about 4 hour, then the bike will die. any1 have an idea on how hard it is to change the magnito, or altinater. and do you have to retime the bike after?
its nice, but it's not the nicest, i had this exact same bike. same year, same everything only mine was in the smokin joe's colors, man that was a clean lookin bike
mine does, unless it's made differently, it should start with the kickstand down as long as it's in neutral. Even with clutched, if the kickstand is down and it's in first, it wont start.
maybe he broke or disabled the push button that doesnt allow it to start with the satnd down and automatically turn the egnine off whe the stand goes down
still would be impossible to start the bike in any other gear than neutral though (without the clutch in), cuz as soon as the engine turned, since it would be in a moving gear, the bike would jump forward and stall. Neutral is the only gear where the clutch is not engaged and the engine can turn freely without sprocket (and wheel) motion
Then you're obviously avoiding all common logic. The only reason the bike cuts off when the kickstand goes down is BECAUSE it's in gear (and vice versa with starting). Not to mention there was no use of the clutch in the vid, so the whole premise of your comment is invalid. Maybe some bikes don't start with the kickstand down, but all that I've seen do, long as they're in neutral. But it's all good, no hard feelings, lol, I'm just a analytical (and slightly debative) person
I realize that most every bike will start with the kickstand down in neutral (its quite obvious to anyone who has ridden a bike)
the point of my initial response was based on the theory that this particular model bike wont start with the stand down even in Neutral because that's what certain comments were describing.
do you understand now?
people were saying that there bike cannot start with the stand down
no matter the circumstance and so i can either assume that there bike have a rare defect
or perhaps all these bike have this problem and this guy simply broke of the knob that alerts the ecu the kickstand is down that kill's power to the bike.
and lastly perhap the people who posted those comments were just too damn stupid too know what neutral is? i dont know but this whole argument is kind of pointless because the issues with this or the other people bike is completely irrelevent to us
lol is it just me or does it look like they mounted the tires backwards? looks like the treads are backwards, but it might be manufactured that way... for some stupid reason.
nice bike Ive got the same (year and model different color scheme) What exhaust do you have on that bike it does sound awsome!

frankizzo - LOL...
Real man don't stunt, they ride bikes.
Teens stunt and so should they 'cause I like to see them.
And if you ride a bike based on what it "looks" like you will have a big back paine if you go any further than your street block.
For me, I like this bike better than any of these RRRRRRR's of today, streets aren't race tracks.
Cheers.

I obviouslly should have made this clear.
i wasnt saying he could then ride off in first gear if it was broke!
i was saying if the knob was broke then it would be able to start with the kickstand down because the bike wouldnt detect it was down.
i never mentioned he was in first gear and by breaking it would have super powers to due a clutchless start. lol
