hola, me gustan tus videos...gracias por tu aporte..dodne puedo conseguir unos apoyos para los speakers..vivo en long beach..o si uno mismo los peude hacer..thanks..:)
hey man, nice gig logs! I have the same speakers as you do, and I love em! the problem is, the gigs i'm doing are getting bigger and bigger (500+) and this system can't keep up, what would you suggest for replacing these??
@DJLeopard316 ...thanks for your comments, i know exactly what you mean, me my self im not replacing my system im getting another system for two reasons to upgrade and as a back up i just bought the new Electro Voice powered 12 and the new 18 inch powered sub they supper ROCk and they are good on your wallet and easy on your back check them out!!!
Yo chompi bought one 2day found a great deal on craigslist payed 275 downside its old but its the V2 and lol sub didnt work. after spending all day seeing if it was the resistors or those tube things if one blew (checked the fuses they were all great) found out it was the woofer originally i tested it first n really dint pay attention if it poped just herd static so thght it was fine. but thanks 2 ya vid on the big ass mexican party with just this systm decided to buy it 2 good 2 pass up also.
Nice work on the makeshift strobes and t-stand! I'm still deciding between this and the 2000, hopefully I'll get as much gigs as you once I get started
@MC16 ...thanks...I was thinking of buying the Matrix 2000 but decided to go with another matrix 1000 and i tell you why, as you can see from my videos i dj solo so i cant carry a lot by my self and i heard from friends the 2000 is pretty heavy, the matrix 1000 is loud enough so i decided to get one more for bigger gigs and back up.
@placeta my friend that's the best part you don't need external amps it already come with it owns apm .. this system fucken ROCKS no bull, but if you have mix feelings go to a guitar center and they have it ask the friendly personel you want to hear it and then you can make you choice...
@MrDjchompiras thanks for the advice, i want them so bad . i read a lot positive reviews from these speakers.... another quick question , how much people could they handle ?
@placeta ..most of the parties i played are house party and a couple small halls , i'm thinking good for 200 people but one day a played at a house and they set me up i little far away and i notice it wasn't as loud where the people were dancing...i still love this system !!
The only thing that sucks about this system is the stands for the speakers. got them (v2) when they first came out and guitar center sold them $600 - which was cool. you are right, these motherfuckers bump. These are perfect for house parties and small gigs in halls. But, I match them up with dual 12 inch MTX DJ speakers. Props for mentioning Six Star DJ in L.A. They never sell at advertised price. you can haggle like a Jew and get hella discounts. The man to ask for is Ricardo.
I also have two Matrix 1000 systems and they crank! One system alone does a great job compared to many other systems for a few hundred more. I always get compliments on how great the speakers sound despite their size. If you need to upgrade I would consider buying another 1000 system instead of the 2000. It worked for me.
im lovin how you made your t-stand ha. where the video on how you made that cause i got extra speaker stands and ballin on a budget.. get at me if you could would be much appreciated. peace.. mikey b
I am from Los Angeles, maybe you can come and see my setup at one of my up and coming events. Go to my profile and visit my web site. In the meantime, take a look at my videos. Good luck with your DJ gigs. Great video.
The b52 matrix 1000 is the most underrated P.A system to me. I own 2 pair of matrix 1000 and I love them. I was dj' ing a gig one time where it was two dj's on two floors and the other guy had 2 mackies and some other kind of sub , and my b52 , out powered that crap by far . Alot of people was telling me they heard my system upstairs, and that his system was weak. Keep that system bro , even if you upgrade you can't go wrong with the matrix 1000 . Thanks for the video - Dj Antoine !!!!!!
Can you use the Full Range Output instead of the input? Because on my mixer it keeps redlining, please let me know
