After Effects Tutorial Super Opening Title

Spent about 4 hours doing this! Good tutorial. I tried it the first time and didn't like the way it looked so I tired again but when ever I moved the text the second time and set to 2 seconds etc the whole text moves and doesn't leave a path for it to follow so when I play I just get static text? Help Pleasee

Can you help me? Had some trouble getting this to work on mine. I have AE 5.5. On this version I can find no Text tool, so I just imported text from Photoshop. I followed your instructions to the point before you add the time effect. It worked fine up to this point. On AE 5.5 there is no "blend" option on the echo operator. I tried a couple of the other options but it didn't have the right effect. What should I do? Good video by the way :-)

@DreamzOG 30fps means 30 frames= 1 second, half of 30 is 15, SO, 1 1/2 seconds= 1.15, or 1 second and 15 frames. If you are going to pursue motion graphics, or anything having to do with video, best to learn the frame count lingo bud.

@toypajns182 Once again... when working in a 30 frame per second environment, .15 means 15 frames, which is also half a second in this context. 2.15 means 2 seconds and 15 frames.... which is 2 1/2 seconds. It's very common video production lingo.

@ExpMCO yes, after effects is a bit pricey... however, when you consider that after effects is used, as a standard, by pretty much every professional, high end production company out there, the price seems almost cheap. You can afford it if you do what I did.... save, save, save. If your planning a career in this sort of stuff, the price is worth every single penny. Have to spend money to make money my friend.

Here's a clue for you: you can split videos into more than 1 part, so you really aren't limited to anything as far as time is concerned on YouTube. First you make 1 video, and give it a name ending with "Part 1". Second, you make another video and name it "Part 2", and so on.
