    Don't make divots in fairways.

  • If you ever do this on a fairway and I land one straight up the middle and into your thingamabob, I'm gonna have to create a divot pattern in your @*$.

  • I've always wondered of the utility of this method. Southern grasses shoot out runners and can fill in several smaller divots quicker than a single divot pattern. With several stalls being rotated, "excavations" become a minor problem. One thing this does give you is a consistent feel of ball impact over turf impact. Since there's less turf hit, I notice that I feel the impact of the ball much differently. Great video.

  • you are right about stolons creeping--however standing in divots is also problematic, hence creating closely cropped divot patterns allows for more golfers to be comfortable in the one slot.
