I had 4 red bellies and they would eat just about anything live. the only thing they seemed to leave was the heads of the fish and other animals I threw in te tank. My red Bellies seemed to like Raw Liver quite a bit too.

feed them alot of live food and they will get used to it and its better to have more then one piranha so they compete for the fish so whoever chases it down and gets ahold of it gets to eat it, so all of mine compete for the fish so i throw in five at a time.

try to turn the lights off in the room or dim the lights because it took me a long time to get mine to eat in the light, so its better to watch them in the dark
