@nls8520 The Persian hasn't been available now for quite a while and still remains unavailable from the manufacturer. I don't know when/if they will make any more of these but we will carry if they do.
Needle point is definitely correct. Broke the tip off of mine twice. It actually is chisel ground on the secondary bevel or the edge. The blades primary grind is flat saber grind but emerson still uses a chisel grind which i reprofiled to double grind.
I think they should make this out of a metal similar to Spyderco's H1 steel, just because I think this would make a great folding fillet knife, and I do a lot of saltwater fishing. Saltwater is BRUTAL on steel knife blades
@ZeroToleranceKnives Knives are always overpriced if you're buying them straight from the manufacturer like a dumbass. The other guys comment is valid on only a few points, depends what you like. This is g-10 the other was a ggrivory handle. I got mine for maybe $80 so it was a great buy for me.
@ZeroToleranceKnives LOL overpriced?? I think you have it reversed...Emerson's are absurdly overpriced and Cold Steel makes some of the toughest knives you can buy. I'd sure trust my Spartan over any Emerson.
