@Aggromerchant I'd have to agree. harvard, brown, cornell, yale, columbia, princeton, penn, and great non-ivy league schools too - boston college, boston university, new york u, west point, the list goes on and on. not to mention THE best college in the whole world, the university of oklahoma!! boomer sooner!!! haha jk but in all seriousness, we do have the best schools.

I would appreciate it more if so many singing the town's praises also knew how to pronounce its name. Unlike the same-named town in northwestern New York, the H is silent in Amherst, Massachusetts' name. As a UMass graduate myself, who lived there for four years, it grates on me to have the name mispronounced. What next? Pronounce Manhattan's Houston Street the same as the city in Texas?
