  • I love this song! Still searching for a copy of their CD to replace the one I bought in 1994!

  • Terrible!!! Argh, that sound like the worst poser stuff....

  • 1 fucking dislike???!!!!! who the hell are you???

  • I've been looking for this song since the 80's. I thought it was S.Perry. Tried Journey, no luck. Finally, great band members when journey used to be GREAT!

  • superb!...

  • uh... like wow

  • I love this song! i wish i could get it in itunes

  • @jtijerino08 Its in Amazon. Had the original tape, but no deck that works anymore lol. D/L'd the whole album :)

  • @JourneyAlwaysRocks, Thanks for the correction. I did not mean any disrespect to Steve Perry, he is definitely one of the greatest singers in music history. Gregg Rolie wrote a good portion of the lyrics for Journey and when he left that was hindered just a bit. I'm sure he did the same with the Storm, in fact he wrote/sang 'Call me', one of the tracks from this album. Jonathan Cain is definitely a great keyboardist. I'm glad Journey found a good singer in Arnel Pineda, great story and voice.

  • This was one the only two bands to sound as great as Journey in the 1990s when there was no Journey lineup touring. The other was Bad English. Both had their roots from Journey. Gregg Rolie in this band and Neal/Jonathan in Bad English. Glad this can still be played. Wish there were more videos of this band. Thanks to THE STORM for keeping the music alive in the 1990s.

  • @JourneyAlwaysRocks Gregg Rolie, Ross Vallory and Steve Smith in this band, originally

  • @PuckRocker43 True. I simply refer to the touring lineup and the lineup credited on the record as the major players.

  • Journey was done not when Steve Perry left, but when they dropped Greg Rolie. This album by the Storm is proof of that!

  • @bonovox1970ify Gregg Rolie left Journey because he did not like touring as much as they were. He wanted more time for his family. Gregg picked Jonathan Cain as his replacement. You would know this had you seen Behind The Music: Journey on VH1 or VH1 Classic. Gregg Rolie's parts are now done very well by Jonathan Cain in concert. So Gregg's duets live on. I have had the pleasure of meeting Gregg Rolie in his band's concerts. He lives on and is still doing the Santana hits & more.

  • @RichieD814 Well, this album went to #3 on the billboards so I doubt at the time he was all that concerned.

  • very good song guys rock on

  • back in my days

  • The second Steve Perry! This singer must be his musician brother!!!

  • @HomerPL Minus the ego :)

  • As seen in this video, Rogaine worked pretty fast for Steve Smith

  • LINDISSIMA BALADA.

  • Wow!! Gregg!! :)

    Thank you!

  • one of my favorite rock ballad...

  • Now I Have You Here................. :)

  • um dos grandes grupos da minha geraçao

  • 2 hit songs then they just vanish from the music scene saw them when they opened for bryan adams

  • @My96XJ Yeah, you can thank Nirvana for them disappearing. Many great bands were shown the door once grunge became popular.

  • mbcrra says they copied a 70's band from Seville, yeah try to buy a web sight name and see how many people own it, the storm that performed in the 80's with kevin chalfant as vocals was completely original and one of 1,000's of groups that knew great music, and here we are 30 years later making that very point, and do you know what the difference is..... Kevin Chalfant is still recording music, I love Led Zeppelin and Scorpions, but they quit long ago.. ha ha

  • scorpions are still making music... i think that 2 years ago they put out an album and they are making a new one and i believe that album will be the last one..

    sorry for my english =)

  • they were from Seville, there were amazing bands in Seville in 70's

  • Awesome...Thanx for sharing!

  • This is a really good song, thanks for sharing.

  • Wow, Another Absolutely Great Song by "The Storm"!!! I'm Loving Their Songs! 5*s Thankyou....Anita..

  • another great song from The Storm :)))

  • a wonderful video and song....thanks for sharing aristacourt :)

  • Excellent video and song!!!

    This is great!

Thank you and to aristacourt (Jon) for sharing!

  • One of my favourite groups. Greetings from Spain.

  • WOW!!! they copied the name of the band! The real "The Storm" was a 70's band from Sevilla (Spain)... they played with Queen! If they were born in U.K. or the U.S.A. they would be unforgettable, as Zeppelin, Scorpions, Purple, etc, etc...

  • I picked this album up in a or at a swap meet in Detroit right around the timeit was released. Loved it then, love it now. good stuff. Nice and simple, easy going. brings back memories , and that's what good songs do.

  • esta balada es todo carajo

damn I love it this song

    el amor existe csm

  • What I would like to know is, Why isn't Steve Smith from Journey playing the drums in this video. There are 3 members from Journey in this band. Greg Rollie (Keyboards), Ross Valory (Bass), Steve Smith (Drums). Maybe Steve didn't want to be in the video, or maybe it is Steve with a wig? Oh, well this is still on hell of an album.

  • perryzgal its john schenk if you want to see kevin and judy just call them you have kevins numbers.judy always asks about your health and i dont know what to say kevin told me 8 years ago and said stay out so i did and i will contnue to do so!!!i got rid of mark years ago and then was asked to be the music director for a major military charity im going to the middle east for the super bowl.good luck and thanks for all that youve done in the past to get me where im at.john

  • I used to have this cassette, The Storm were better than Journey's 90s material

  • It's weird for me watching Kevin in videos. I still remember him on stage playing in bars before he headed out to CA. He sounded awesome then and still does now.

  • I know how you feel. My brother, Ron, is the drummer. I remember watching him practice in his bedroom when we were kids.

  • Los Journey de Dios Perry resucitados!!

    Obra de arte Total!!

  • A Lot Of People Have Forgot About This Great Band And Did Not Know They Were A Journey Related Rock Band .They Released Two CD's The Storm And Eye Of The Storm .Kevin Chalfant, Gregg Rolie,Ross Valory,Josh Ramos,Steve Smith Was The Members With Ron Wisko Replacing Steve Smith On The Second CD !!!

  • Who the hell is on the drums?? That ain't Steve Smith!!

  • That would be my brother, Ron Wikso, who replaced Steve very early on. Gregg Rolie now has the Gregg Rolie Band and Ron is still his drummer.

  • This is amazing!

  • you need Hugo Valenti singing.

  • i personally think this is hilarious...i know kevin's daughter.

  • ...and I know Kevin!

  • I would love to know Kevin. ;-)

  • Love you Kev!!! Miss you Kev!!!!! Hope to see you again soon!

    Hugs,

    Perryzgal

  • Kevin is just an awesome singer.

  • An awesome singer and a wonderful man!!!

  • Who is the drummer in this video ? Is it Ron Wisko ?

  • Kevin Chalfant is great!

  • he sounds a lot like steve perry

  • awesome song..talk about reaching out and grabbing hold..I loved it..thanks for posting.

  • These guys are awesome..I don't know how I never heard of them when they first came out. I really dig them though

  • dng720: I had never heard of them either, until recently and they're really good.

  • Amo esta banda MARAVILHOSA !!! Grande música, grandes músicos, simplesmente PERFEITO !!!

    AOR de primeira grandeza !!!

    Abraços

  • incredible song is great great aor is the best

  • Amazing...

Have you heard the first band called The Storm, from the early 70´s?

    They composed Crazy Machine, LOl

  • The lead singer is my Best Friend's Uncle.

  • Oh my god what an honor....tell him to come to Portugal ok?

    kiss

  • anybody have the mp3 version of the song????

  • I have the entire cd.. I have both of their discs

  • es um filha da puta nao falas assim do benfica

  • a puta da tua mae lampiao do caralho....ficaste em 4º e ainda foste humilhado em alvalade, por isso CALOU CABRÃO DO CARALHO

  • This band was absolutely fantastic, hell of a good song... such a shame the new line up for Journey didn't include Kevin Chalfant, their new guy sounds HORRIBLE.

  • I have to agree! They should've gone with this guy instead of Arnel.

  • this is my all time favorite storm song. love it. i really do.

  • photosmile: mine too, just love it

  • whats not to love hey? this song is amazing.

  • theodoraart: I really like Kevin Chalfant too, too bad they didn't include him.

  • It was great to find this band finally, I knew earlier only their hit tune! :-)

  • this band will always have a special meaning to me..always loved their music, great..great!

  • damn! is it just me or deja vu. First time to hear this song, i think i heard it before but i cant put my fingers on it. any way thanks for the post enjoyed it and hearing good songs like this bring back good memories.

  • That's not Steve Smith on drums.Anyone know where he is?

  • Ron Wisko(sp?)

  • mailman6161--He's teaching drumming, isn't that great!

  • Steve Smith tours constantly with his band Vital Information

  • Although Steve was the drummer for the Storm debut album, he dropped out of the band and was replaced by Ron Wisko who later was the drummer on the second Storm album. So although Steve is the drummer on "Show Me The Way", the video shows Ron Wisko.

  • Kevin Chalfant Rocks!!!

  • These guys were great, two albums just werent enough.

  • kissfan6767: I agree, they needed to put out more then two! They'tr great...

  • Great band, great guy! Love Kevin!

  • hey perryzgal,

  • Where oh where oh where can I download this? Tried Limewire but to no avail, surely some AOR,rocker, metalhead or Journey fan out there knows.......

  • try a program called, E-MULE....THIS IS AN AMAZING SONG, ONE OF THE BEST, TOP 3.

1ST-I LIVE MY LIFE FOR YOU-FIREHOUSE

    2AN-SHOW ME THE WAY-THE STORM

    3RD-ALL FROM DANGER DANGER

    REGARDS FROM PORTUGAL.

  • Cheers Reinagomes

  • i love this band!!!!

  • just fucking great great song.amazing voice, super melody.

  • brano bellissimo...grandissima voce...

  • The drummer is Ron Wisko a great session drummer who has worked for Cher, David Lee Roth, to name a few. Kevin Chalfant should have been Journey's new vox but Hey, who wants to play casinos and state fairs for the next 10 years anyway. Sour grapes? You bet!! Signed, C.Chalfant.

  • who is the drummer in this video? Steve Smith played on the "album", but that's definitely not him here.

  • mind blowing song , fan-fucking-tastic

  • couldn't fan-fucking-agree more :)

  • Ya Steve Perry does sound alot like Kevin Chalfant. You Rock Kevin!!!

  • rcpilot2007: Keven Chalfant does rok, love the man's voice.

  • I do think Journey could have sounded really good with him. Anybody have video or even audio of that one off show they did in 93 (I think it was 93 anyway)

  • dng720: I sure don't have any video/audio sorry.

  • Kerjo123: Thanx anyways

  • Is the best singer. with steve perry, mark free, dc cooper.

  • I love this song.Every night i have this some dream.now i have you here by me.I can't let you go.I need for you to stay.Show me the way to your heart. And you know what to do.show me the way.

  • Kevin Chalfant is great solo and in The Storm but I do think he shredded 707 and Shooting Star's reputations by making them sound like Journey wanna-bes. 707 had a nice Elton John/Loverboy mix style and Shooting Star was great hard rock till he came along.

  • The problem is Chalfant or not, those bands (707, Steel Breeze, Shooting Star) had trouble getting the record deals/exposure necessary to keep going. Kevin was great in the Storm because of the talent around him. While the other bands have their fans, and rightly so, the Storm lineup was practically Journey, and Journey has had the success and staying power that those other bands never had.

  • @KurtmanJP He was in Shooting Star? I knew he was in both 707 & Steel Breeze.

  • @bucky468 Kevin Chalfant wasnt in Shooting Star. That was Gary West

  • @PuckRocker43 What happened to Gary West? I hear Kevin replaced him in Shooting Star.

Who fronts 707? Are they still around? I know Duke McFadden is now deceased.

  • The Storm was comprised mostly of founding Journey members. Kevin Chalfant was indeed a lead singer for Journey when they reunited on tour back in the early 2k's I saw them live at the Bloomsburg Town Fair and he indeed is an amazing singer of Steve Perry caliber.

  • Wrong. Steve Augeri (ex-Tall Stories) was Journey's lead singer from 1998 to 2006. Jeff Scott Soto briefly held the official lead vocals spot from 2006-2007. These are the only two singers to be the official lead singer for Journey since Steve Perry. Chalfant did perform at a benefit show with Journey in the early 90s.

  • @Calbear94 Jeff Scott Soto? Isn't he the Idol contestant that starred in that rock opera that covered 80's arena rock like Journey, REO, Styx & Boston?

  • Hey he sorta sounds like Steve Perry a little bit. he should sing for journey!!

  • Isnt he the new lead singer for Shooting Star now?

  • dude - years ago I´ve heard this bombastic ballad... don´t know how many times in a row - day by day ... - And it´s still one of the best of the best - ever !

  • I love this band!

  • Kevin Chalfant: Fly To Freedom album rocks! He just keeps getting better and better!

  • were did you get it from

  • I'm speechless. You are beyond amazing~

  • My God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!is one of my favorite song in the history

  • I'm glad this video is BACK on Youtube! Daggone VOCALS, man!!!

  • Great voice!

  • I didn't know The Storm made any videos. This is a rare jewel. I really wish they'd come back. They were so good.

What the music industry is producing and trying to pass as music nowadays is CRIMINAL.

  • @warptek Like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry & St!nk???

  • The most beautifully translated passion through vocals and video I've seen yet. This one reaches deep and conveys the feeling in a way rarely found. This is what music should alwasy feel like. Amazing job!

  • Were still waiting to see you rise to the top again Kevin.... Come on and write something that takes you back to the top of the charts!!! waiting patiently.... peace and goodluck

  • "Eye of the Storm", el segundo de estos genios, es el mejor disco de AOR de la historia. El primero, al que pertenece este baladón no se le queda muy lejos. Esto es música. Reuniros ya!

  • You rock Kev! Keep up the good work!
