  • photographers do not use holgas.

  • to get master degree in photography with toy camera? good art school indeed

  • What a great video; thanks for the inspiration.

    b/b)O(

  • @avallonmist you're welcome. glad you enjoyed it

  • Just ordered my first Holga... can't wait to unwrap it

  • @n23f How did it go!??! Have you gotten any pictures back yet. Hope it's going great for you.

    b/b )O(

  • @avallonmist oh its awesome, great shooting time, haven't seen the result tho!! thanxss

  • I'm not knocking film or anything; I've got a Minolta SR-T 101 as my main camera and I love it

  • Well, if you have a decent camera and you can use it, then the results would be similar in quality to digital. This camera gives a weird effect because it has a plastic lens, but that effect is not the "film" effect. Moreover, lots of film cameras have full automatic settings so shooting film doesn't necessarily mean you have any skill. Moreover, many DSLRs have full manual controls, so shooting digital does not necessarily mean a person doesn't have any skill.

  • @ItsHeroXJ To put it simple, it's not about the camera but the one who is using it.

  • Omg one person three people a lot of people and the mountains, are you kidding me...

  • how do you delevop the film from holga? and put it on the computer?

  • Just keep one thing in mind ... It is not the camera that makes art ! It is not art because it is shot with Holga... AND lets not forgrt that shooting with crap camera does NOT make you better artist. And well shooting film camera is definitely great ... I myself want to get one ... but well not holga, even though I am going for medium format. I d rather spend a bit more for working Flexaret.

  • thanks b8sam6cash

  • Dear saharcastic... what is the difference between holga 135BC and holga 135 BC TLR camera? what does TLR effects? Im very new to lomography...tq

  • @electriceye67 TLR stands for twin lens reflex. It uses a viewfinder lens identical to the lens used for the exposure. The "reflex" part is because the viewfinder lens is much closer to the camera lens, needing a mirror to reflect the image to you. This minimizes parallax and gives you a much better idea of what the final exposure will look like. The 135 BC uses a standard type viewfinder at the top of the camera.

  • Yeah, film is amazingg. but I think the only reason digital is so popular is because.. it's cheaper. Yeah, you'll pay about $200 for a digital camera but in the long run, it saves more money than an actual film camera. I'm not knocking film cameras or the holga, because obviously the pictures.. come out amazing. And I agree.. digital lacks that certain something. Too much clarity. Doesn't give you much to look into or think about.

  • I hate digital cameras I want one!

  • where can i buy one :( im from canada ontario

  • @dwsRonak Check out "freestyle photos" and "lomography com"

  • @dwsRonak You could try the internet

  • diana vs holga

  • @froliciouspanda holga

  • Deifying the equipment no matter the expense or lack of, of said equipment, is just as damaging as pixel peeping.

  • I don't get it. How do you get several photos in one?

  • @stripedsailor Probably by exposing the same frame multiple times (by not winding the camera to use the next frame).

  • Double exposure. Hmmmm.

  • I want that clock in the backround

  • Holgas rule.

  • Nothing short of outstanding!

  • great video. thanks for uploading

  • film cameras produce spiritual photos that digital cannot.

  • digitals good, but film is funner.

  • @ShutterPhotograpghy I know, you have no idea how the picture came out until you develop it

  • @sonofthedestroyer You can edit digital to get exactly same effects as film.

  • anyone know how to get these type of photos that over lap each other on this camera? do you just not wind on the film? im a digital user but this lomography stuff is growing on me.

  • @xsjad0man you have to cock the shutter without winding the film (push the rewind button while turning the wheel) then take another picture

  • Just got my Holga 120N and put my fisheye lens on it, will post some pics of it later, shyt is SICK!

  • the hola is only like 30 bucks

  • Is this easy to use? Coz have a plan to buy a holga Camera.

  • it's priceless if u know exactly what a lomo is..

  • @dopolavorferroviario i agree.but if you use it right, your pictures will be priceless. but the LSI are selling their stuff at a VERY high price though

  • u bought mine for $27.

    what the fuck?

  • Most of your shots wont turn out this good.

  • forget holgas, check out that mamiya at 0:06.

  • Gosh! You're right! A thousand dollar camera takes more technically proficient pictures than a thirty dollar ($30 US) camera!

Thank you ddtninja! Thank you for pointing that out.

If not for you, we might have been confused into thinking that there was no finer camera than the Holga.

    Moron.

I love the video by the way. Nothing inspires the imagination like barebones tools.

  • haha wow someone seems a little bitter. i loved the video too so let's all take it easy.

  • Weel done, Sahar! This was a very professional piece - can we expect more with photography themes?

  • The Holga 3-D Stereo camera really rocks.

  • what camera is better holga or diana? i want to buy one but i dont know which is the best someone can tell me

  • i think they're the same the holga has the color splash!! I don't think the diana has that plus the holga is cheaper than the diana so get the cheap one first

  • AND MOUNTAINS 0_o

  • LOL... agreed... I was like... wait, what?

  • i just ordered this! im so excited to see how it works out.

  • i love it :D!

  • wow multiple exposures what a new concept !

  • haha

  • lol, i know.

  • not really all that new... un-common would probably be more accurate

  • HAHA mad me laugh

  • Check out which cameras allow for multiple exposure numbnuts. SUPER high end cameras, and RIDICULOUSLY simple cameras. That's it. The middle ground where 99.9% of people sit, wont own a camera that does this.

    Jack ass.

  • Pentax K10D & K20D have multiple exposure facility and they are both mid-priced unpretentious cameras with weather proofing and I think they knock spots of similarly priced Nikon or Canon models

  • It isn't the Holga that's pretentious. Just because some of it's users are pretentious doesn't make a $30 camera pretentious.

    The Nikon D3x is pretentious.

  • That blond kid is cute. somone get him an agent!

  • really great - will use this video link for my adv. photo class.. thank you!

  • the aperture setting does not do anything unless you do the aperture mod

  • That camera has the Aperture Mod; I say this because it has the Bulb mod; so its fair to deduce that she is using a modified Holga, most likely purchased from Holgamods ;)

  • this is nice

  • Awesome

  • Go Erin! Nice video!
