We try to keep them separated for this reason,my iguana doesn't jump up on furniture with my dog until today,and he bit him. I would highly recommend not allowing your dog to do that, your iguana wasn't panicking, but was irritated. The dog only got bit as she wrapped her arm around the iguana, your iguana felt threatened at that point and "LuLu" was no longer a friend but a predator. You can let them "play" but keep an eye on the dog.
The iguana is obviously no more than annoyed by the pug. If it was actually mad or upset it would have used its tail and been postured. They look like a good couple!

It's not a game to tell your dog to get the iguana. Both animals could have been seriously hurt. Uh yea,do you know how bad iguana bites are? My iguana charges towards me dog,this dog is the most gentle dog. We try to keep them separated for this reason,my iguana doesn't jump up on furniture with my dog until today,and he bit him. Now my dog has to go to the vet and were going to have to either put my iguana to sleep or send him to an iguana sanctuary

You should have seen this coming and removed either dog or Iguana so that noone got hurt! I don't even own an Iguana and I saw that somebody was going to get hurt. Do you even realise how much damage an Iguana could do if made angry or irritated!? And do you know a wound from a bite from that lizard could fester it skin was broken.
One whipe of it's tail could easily cause damage to! So I suggest in future you think of both of your animals safety... and read the obvious signs!

I would highly recommend not allowing your dog to do that, your iguana wasn't panicking, but was irritated. The dog only got bit as she wrapped her arm around the iguana, your iguana felt threatened at that point and "LuLu" was no longer a friend but a predator. You can let them "play" but keep an eye on the dog.
