Normally we have snowfall by mid-September. This year it was early October, which is normal for Denver rather than Cheyenne. We had 11 inches of snow in September of 2000 in one storm. Once we had a blizzard on September 1 here too, about 1982. We usually have snow anytime between September and May, and even into/through June. I wish that our Chinook winds come back to warm us up in the winter again. We haven't had them for 3 years now.
