I recognise the sound of the engine. and the tachometers in ALL opel corsa's of that (model B) are all black with white writing/marks. these white ones you see are infact backing stickers for modifications. Since most 'sporty mods' are designed around the petrol scene rather than diesel, these back stickers are for petrol engined models...THIS CAR IS A DIESEL! Fact! Don't you ought to think that a 4 cylinder petrol engine would be screaming at those RPMs?

With the scroll of a little screw, you can pressurize the intake on the fuel, and change the limiter of RPM's on diesel cars (at least on europe)...

So a car that has rmp max of 5500 (this case) can very easely be putted up to 7000 no prob... the downside is that the engine will last LESS..... And we do not want that..... We even have diesels having 8000rmps... do a quick search on some portuguese cars...

My mum used to have a standard one of these and i used to work as a mechanic myself. I can clearly hear the noise of the diesel engine through the exhaust.

The tachometer is lying. Where the 7 is, that's normally a 6 on the diesel tachometer and the 6 on this one is where the 5 is on the diesel.

He's just put on a white dial kit over the existing standard black faces. These are obviously from a petrol engine. The noise of this is deffo a diesel Corsa. I'd recognise it a mile away. This one is really only revving to about 5800rpm maximum
