  • Although not bad, this one of the weakest versions, recorded in video, at least, of Won't Get Fooled Again.

  • imagine hearing that scream on lsd... haha

  • most epic end to a concert ever...it musta been one hell of a night for people there

  • its all about the energy you send

  • eheh it's funny when Roger sings "and the parting on the left" indicating right and "are now parting on the right" indicating left :P

  • @RhumOnFire I know it's a strange concept... but he could actually be thinking about his audience. From the audience's view, he pointed to their left and right accordingly.

  • Way too much time on Pete at the expense of Keith.

  • I really like this video series as Moon's drums are more up front (think: Bonham) and that with the speed and fills= WOW!

  • If I could switch places with Pete just once, I would bring a hot chick home with me, put this song on and say, "yeah, I wrote this" .

  • @lickknob11: Funny, but great comment. I think you could get some chicks just writing and playing your own songs, even if they are not quite like this...rock on!

  • Bach, Mozart, Chopin, TOWNSEND !

  • Petes guitar sounds almost likea "buzz saw " at times in this performance. Wonder if he got that sound here from using the Univox Super-fuzz pedal.

  • Moonie looks like he's having a good time

  • thtas fuckin gay that it isnt and kilburn is they should also release the film caps filmed in manchester by a guy called richard stanley for the who the year of caps is 1973

  • So many bands these days try to sound like there own records...... the Who always went so much further in the live realm........ Huge Huge sound for a 4 piece... Will always be my favourite live band....... Rock on guys..... you the biggest and the best!!!!!!!

  • No one could play the fucking drums like Keith Moon. No one.

  • @Bopalena what about John Entwistle on Bass?

  • @ox092 - And no one could play that thunderous bass like the Ox!

  • @Bopalena Nor should anyone try. Sloppy, noisy, failing to keep time.

  • @TruthAxe Your credibility as a human being has just been seriously dinged. Moon is most entertaining, prolific rock performer this side of Iggy. Iggy can't sing either. You miss the point. Of it ALL.

  • You amuse, @ttraynor1. Moon died at 32. Hardly was he prolific. To suggest that Moon had the most abundant body of work in rock amounts to foolery.

In so far as entertainment, Keith Moon couldn't give the movie Dumb and Dumber a run.

  • @TruthAxe Wow....Hey...........oh--very sorry. I didn't know better. Fucking tool.

  • The amusing @ttraynor1. I agree with you. You sum up yourself nicely in two words.

  • @TruthAxe Townshend's on his way over. To break his truth ax over your pointed head.

  • @ttraynor1 Red rover, red rover. Send Pete right over.

And when he gets here, he's going to have a beating administered to him, if he tries any of that "I've always been a woman" stuff.

  • @TruthAxe Who do you hire to administer beatings......these days? Interesting that it is YOU who wants to play children's games. Do you do children's birthday parties as well? Maybe this infatuation led you to Townshend---but to your dismay: NOT guilty!

  • You amuse, @ttraynor1. Try to make sense instead of looking foolish. Enjoy your idol worship of Peteophile.

  • Why is it when Pete jumps around on stage he looks so cool and when someone else does it they look so lame?

  • Because Pete is so cool!!!!

  • Because Pete was ferocious. He didn't think about it, it was just natural.

Other people TRY, and it's just silly. I don't do it, even in my basement, because I can't, so I just look silly.

But Pete, He's Raw and emits like... a power.

  • @juicedupnsloppy because Pete can!

  • energy...

  • @juicedupnsloppy Because Pete is the original.

  • @juicedupnsloppy because 1) he has in his favor the Roger powerfull voice, the Keith explosive drums and John unmistakeble bass 2) because he does` simple jump; he does that in a provocative way, as he uses guitar like a machine gun

  • @juicedupnsloppy 3) because you know he will jump, but he always does it in a different way, so it`s always a surprise 4) because everything he does is interesting, isn`t? 5) and last but not least, he is sexy, beautifull, brilliant and full of charm. What more else is all of this at the same time impersonated?

  • good god they had lightning in a bottle here, why the hell isn't this concert on dvd???

  • MAJESTIC ROCK

  • I really didn't like that beggining where Keith is on slow motion... when this song starts with a blast is much better, i mean... image blast, that slow motion took all that blast away!!

  • thats pimpen

  • what does that mean?

  • i mean the effect is pimpen.

  • john e is the coolest m f ever

  • i would rather actually see moon playing the drum solo instead of townshend's arm moving up and down, that is just annoying.

  • I know what you mean. I think it's great we have this footage at all plus the audio with such good sound quality, but it would have been better to have mutliple camera angles positioned all all the members of the band like they did later at Shepperton.

  • THE WHO is the FIRST hardcore band ever!

  • Devastating....

  • wait whats devastating??

  • One of the greatest live bands and bands ever. I'm not gonna argue if they were better than zeppelin or anyone else, but they sure were amazing

    Faboulus upload

  • Oh, and I love how they used so many speakers and were so loud. It's crazy when Roger screams and the sound wobbles.

  • I would have loved to have seen John during this, but the camera angles sucked, so's hid behind the speakers

  • The reason why the "angles suck" is that this show was shot from a back projection screen by three or four cameras, primarily for those in the nosebleed seats. That's why the footage here is tight and limited. Projection screens at concerts in 1975 were still in their infancy. I think Zeppelin were the first people to use them when they did their Earl's Court shows in May 1975. This show was on November 20 that same year... tho I must admit: the slow-motion inserts are dumb... :-)

  • amazing song.

  • THE BEST ROCK SONG EVER.

  • Oh, great. Thanks to the effects guy, we get to see Pete's arm twitching instead of Keith's legendary drum break...I assume THAT was what was put at the beginning in extreme slow motion? Nice job, dude.

    But the performance? Frickin' incredible!!

  • This is why i wacth CSI miami, just to hear that song, when its done i turn of the Tv. yeeah

  • i think its retarted that when people hear this song they only think CSI miami,,,,screw that shit this is an awesome rock song one of the best....and should be recognized for its own genius and not some gay show

  • I agree, its too bad that its mostly recognized for the CSI Miami show, its sad. The song rocks ass.

  • I have to agree The Who is much better than CSI Miamii

  • This rocks! The Who at their prime!!

  • they didn't play the seeker

  • they rarely do

  • What Mrs. Moon said ! The is simply legendary !

  • epic.

  • Great performance. But the people who did the "arty" inserts... Grrrrr!

So we get to see Pete's armpit twitching instead of Moon as he comes in with the final drum break. Morons.

  • My gues is some footage was lost but the sound was intact so whoever made this bootleg just put the "arty" inserts in

  • "meet the new boss same as the old boss" hell yes

  • And the men who spurred us on

Sit in judgement of all wrong

They decide and the shotgun sings the song!

  • damn the effects guy! why must he plague this performance!

  • This is an awsom pefromace wish the camra agles were better.
