Even you beloved Iginla in his first 388 games(5 seasons) had 262 points, and Jerome started a year later then hemmer.. Sorry to break it to you, but you gotta learn hockey eventually right?
Flames fan here. While I love this hit to death because it was against a player I dislike, using his stick against his neck was very dangerous.

Regehr is one of the hardest hitters and top aggressive defensemen. Souray is a big guy, but Regehr is definitely bigger and a better fighter
