I don't see why people are calling this hateful. He has his opinions, she has hers, they're having an ADULT DISCUSSION. This helps people learn about different things, including religions. He did twist some stuff though.

Christians developed the devil (from the benevolent pagan God of Pan), the ten commandments, ONE male God, and choose to live by the standards that they set.. So where is good Christian LOVE, forgiveness, TOLERANCE, etc etc etc... I love how Christians choose to accept some parts of their faith and the word of GOD within the bible, yet choose to ignore others.. I wish Christians would wake up and live by Jesus CHRISTs example and not by the hateful, unloving, intolerant, fearing way many choose.
He makes god sound so petty; I am glad I am not Christian anymore. In the bible Satan is still god's 'angel'. I do not see god, a loving one, purposely punishing us for not being able to see the truth and find it in 'one life' especially if he knew '2000' years ago all this would happen. I clicked on this video, and seeing the username, I expected to be angry. But I am actually very impressed with both him and her. She presents her arguments calmly and rationally without getting frustrated, and he doesn't judge or preach as much as some other Christian missionaries I've seen. Although they are both biased, this is a reasonably calm discourse. Yay. We may disagree, but we are all paths to the same truth. As long as we live good lives, I don't believe any God could find fault. )O(
why does it make everyone ngry when someone speaks about god and jesus? he believed his god was the savior and his intentions were good. i wish people would just agree or disagree rather than start judging people. you guys should be more like the girl in the vid.

@bigt583 I do not think a god of truth, love, or light would need to be so manipulative. However, perhaps it is simply the earthly representatives who at times places him in a bad light. They are, after all, as human as we. At least they are talking with a witch peacefully and not literally burning her. In the 21st century occult shops have been burned, pagan houses shot at... so I think this comes a long way. It is good for both pagans and Christians. Understanding can bring peace.
Towards the end, when she started getting upset, because he kept "infering" she was going to hell, I just wanted to jump though the screen and defend her, becuase that was realy brutal of him, and she was never giving the chance to say those things back to him about her religion. These questions are designed to entrap a person in a black and white game of semantics. She didn't admit to stealing but he called her a thief. She admitted to normal human sexual feelings which the interviewer then turned into adultery. He had a script which he stuck to irregardless of her answers. By gods standards. By his gods standards. By his gods book. The interviewers never veers outside of his box as limited as close minded as that is.

She did the right thing. Anytime a Pagan encounters someone who wants to 'teach' them, it's important to be open minded and tolerant and loving, and not make it a fight. Fighting with each other gets us both no where. History has shown that peace is as powerful as war. Just look at what MLK managed with peace if you want an example.

This interviewer is the WORST Ray Comfort parrot I've ever heard (and I've heard some BAD ones!) I wish I could've been there to answer his ridiculously flawed questions. The only thing you need to point out to these minions of stupidity is "There is no proof for any gods existing, including yours. Until you prove your particular god is real, anything you want to challenge me with is BASELESS." End of story.
My biggest problem with the man asking questions is that he does not understand that the culture and morals are extremely different, lusting after someone in paganism is not adultery, stealing time and flowers from parks and people to get something done is not stealing, and if you go by the do as you will as long as you don't cause harm you can lie as long as it doesn't hurt someone but it's better not to cause the results of lieing are hard to predict.
I am a former Christian that was brought up in an Ultra Christian Family. I am now a Deist, and believe in The God of Nature aka The Creator of the Universe. The God of the Bible is a stranger to me. I feel that the bible is NOT the word of God. The True Word of God is the Nature we Behold. I also don't believe that Jesus was the ONLY Son of God. We are ALL sons and daughters of God. Jesus taught Charity, Love and Brotherhood, but so have many others. That Lady deserves The Medal of Patience!

The thing is, God gave everyone a free will so that we would have the ability to choose Him or deny Him. Besides, God isn't necessarily judging people for not choosing the right way, He is judging them for their sin. So people who refuse to call upon Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will have to answer for their sin. God can only forgive our sin against Him because of Christ.

After watching the video in it's entirety, I can say that the interviewer certainly wasn't listening. He was trying, albeit politely, to convince the Wiccan that her faith was wrong. He kept beginning sentences with "In the bible." You have to be a Christian to believe what's in the bible. It is very saddening how brainwashed people are that their religion is "the only way." They should try watching movies such as "What the bleep do we know?" to get a more scientific and unbiased point of view.

These arguments never work, because there is always one person who is preaching through the argument and is basing their answers and questions around potentially invalid concepts. How can argue with that?
That would be comparable to arguing the fastest route from NY, NY to Beijing with someone who is convinced the Earth is flat. How do you argue with someone who is arguing from false assumptions. You would have to reconstruct their entire belief, which is virtually impossible.

Nice interview. I like to see this kind of thing. We can agree to disagree and still be polite about it. At least everyone kept a level head about it and neither party flew off the handle when making their points. Of course, if I had to choose a side, I'd be on hers and I agree with everything she said in this interview. I liked how the interviewer was polite and didn't fly off the handle about it, but all the same, I have to agree with her.

I may not agree with what they do, but it's the person that counts. I had gay friends in high school and they were amazing people. Just because someone does/believes/thinks/looks different than you doesn't mean they are worth any less.
The same for Wiccans/Pagans. We may not believe the same things, but I think that their beliefs have merit and truths as well.
First I'd like to say this lady was very kind and civil in her conversation, which is a rare thing today. Basically you can tell by whats she's saying (Especially around 8.00-10.00 in the video) is that She tried lving a Christian life in her own strength and couldn't, which is right none of us can,but she found paganism easier to follow, and why not, it's more in line with our fleshly desires. I pray she will one day see the TRUTH!

A proxy is baptized for them and if they accept the baptism, they are of His fold and receive exaltation
@nicolemtracy You must understand that your Mormonism is not Christianity. Your founder, Joseph Smith, broke away from Christianity because he did not like the teaching of hell. This is why he created Mormonism...to separate. Heb. 9:27 states, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die , but after this the judgment:". This means simply what it states....you die and judgment - no second chances or do-overs. You must make a decision to follow the teachings of the Bible or Joseph Smith.
@repentandtrustdotorg Actually, Mormonism is a form of Christianity. We do believe in Heaven in Hell as well as God the Father, His son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost. Life after death isn't a do over per say, but a chance to repent before the second coming of Christ. These questions are designed to entrap a person in a black and white game of semantics. She didn't admit to stealing but he called her a thief. She admitted to normal human sexual feelings which the interviewer then turned into adultery. He had a script which he stuck to irregardless of her answers. By gods standards. By his gods standards. She did the right thing. Anytime a Pagan encounters someone who wants to 'teach' them, it's important to be open minded and tolerant and loving, and not make it a fight. Fighting with each other gets us both no where. History has shown that peace is as powerful as war. Just look at what MLK managed with peace if you want an example.
Besides he really wasn't that bad. Under-educated perhaps, but overall he was being about as nice and respectful as they come when they're looking to convert you.

My biggest problem with the man asking questions is that he does not understand that the culture and morals are extremely different, lusting after someone in paganism is not adultery, stealing time and flowers from parks and people to get something done is not stealing, and if you go by the do as you will as long as you don't cause harm you can lie as long as it doesn't hurt someone but it's better not to cause the results of lieing are hard to predict.

After watching the video in it's entirety, I can say that the interviewer certainly wasn't listening. He was trying, albeit politely, to convince the Wiccan that her faith was wrong. He kept beginning sentences with "In the bible." You have to be a Christian to believe what's in the bible. It is very saddening how brainwashed people are that their religion is "the only way." They should try watching movies such as "What the bleep do we know?" to get a more scientific and unbiased point of view.

The truth in her self-presentation has really disarmed him. she's awesome. a really nice girl. at the end he's just trying so hard.....people like him need to remember the old and truthful saying: "a man convinced against his will remains an unbeliever still."

These arguments never work, because there is always one person who is preaching through the argument and is basing their answers and questions around potentially invalid concepts. How can argue with that?
That would be comparable to arguing the fastest route from NY, NY to Beijing with someone who is convinced the Earth is flat. How do you argue with someone who is arguing from false assumptions. You would have to reconstruct their entire belief, which is virtually impossible.
It does not work.

I mean, charging into people about living their lives according to the commandments (and there are over three hundred of them, silly Christians always misinterpreting the Jews), when he stands there as fat as the queen of Hippos…seven deadly sins!

Nice interview. I like to see this kind of thing. We can agree to disagree and still be polite about it. At least everyone kept a level head about it and neither party flew off the handle when making their points. Of course, if I had to choose a side, I'd be on hers and I agree with everything she said in this interview. I liked how the interviewer was polite and didn't fly off the handle about it, but all the same, I have to agree with her.

As a Pagan of 13 years I am so happy to see a intellegent Pagan out there! She holds her head high & stands her ground. While I am not a Wiccan I do follow the path of the Druids.

I am of mayan descent and my people are A testiment to your christianity and have seen first hand what it was all about .. they may not be like that in our time but trust me they still hold the same views .. She's amazing. I'd have been far less nice to that man. I know his goal isn't to be offensive or rude, but what he is doing is quite arrogant. They are at a Pagan Pride day, and he comes to preach to them? Give them a break for goodness sake!

@piguliar I agree! I don't go to Gay Pride festivals and tell all the people there that they're going to burn in hell for all eternity. I may not agree with what they do, but it's the person that counts. I had gay friends in high school and they were amazing people. Just because someone does/believes/thinks/looks different than you doesn't mean they are worth any less.
The same for Wiccans/Pagans. We may not believe the same things, but I think that their beliefs have merit and truths as well.

First I'd like to say this lady was very kind and civil in her conversation, which is a rare thing today. Basically you can tell by whats she's saying (Especially around 8.00-10.00 in the video) is that She tried lving a Christian life in her own strength and couldn't, which is right none of us can,but she found paganism easier to follow, and why not, it's more in line with our fleshly desires. I pray she will one day see the TRUTH!

@mykidsdad36 Im sorry but may i point out that she did say that Paganism was not easier in the vid. Im not trying to start a fight but only to make a point and if you believe in what i say is tottaly up to you. Most Christians who i know(i am in no way saying this goes for all Christians) only celebrate god on sundays yet all of my Pagan friends tend to bring god into everything they do so in the way it has been shown to me it is harder to be Pagan.

@xXxloveandlightxXx - Yes, sadly many people that profess to be christians do only celebrate God ( as you say) only on sundays -those are th ones who are religious but lost (they have a head knowledge but not a heart knwoledge -Big difference) A real Born Again christian will base their whole life, every decision, etc.... off of their belief in God and obedience to his word. Wow. This woman is so strong. I am a christian and I would've beat that interviewer senseless. Maybe that's not very christian of me, but seriously, why is he trying so hard to make what she believes sound evil? I think every religion has truth in it, and that just because we are all different religions doesn't mean that those of different religions are evil, or even bad. Why can't everyone just get along? Why do we have to prove anything? I love Amanda's strength and character.

That means Buddha, Krishna, Mohammed, mother earth, and any other thing you want to serve is useless. Don't get mad at me for telling you this, get mad at Jesus. He draws the line of exclusivity. God says that all are evil in Ps. 14 and we cannot "follow our hearts" because it is wicked - Jer. 17:9.

I believe that God is just, and no one could argue that, but he is also merciful. In my religion we believe that when we die and pass onto the other side, those who never had a chance to learn or accept gospel have an opportunity to do so in the next world. A proxy is baptized for them and if they accept the baptism, they are of His fold and receive exaltation

@nicolemtracy You must understand that your Mormonism is not Christianity. Your founder, Joseph Smith, broke away from Christianity because he did not like the teaching of hell. This is why he created Mormonism...to separate. Heb. 9:27 states, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die , but after this the judgment:". This means simply what it states....you die and judgment - no second chances or do-overs. You must make a decision to follow the teachings of the Bible or Joseph Smith.

@repentandtrustdotorg Actually, Mormonism is a form of Christianity. We do believe in Heaven in Hell as well as God the Father, His son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost. Life after death isn't a do over per say, but a chance to repent before the second coming of Christ.
