for those who don't know, this song is about some guys from Newcastle (upon-Tyne - in the north east of England - also knows an Geordie-land)

They went to work in Germany as times were hard...

(this was also the closing theme tune for "Auf Weidersehn Pet" which tells the story of the Geordies on their trip to Germany)
