to all friend who watch this film document my heart go to tang kim she probably around my age I lost all my family during pol pot i only have one sister watch this document make me cry thinking if my sister go through the same way when khmer rough kill her until this day i stil thinking how i stil alive live through those horrible time you can not imagine how horrible thank God now im in Canada

Here is what I don't understand about rape: a man has to be hard to penetrate a woman - what could possibly excite a man in a terrified, perhaps beaten/bound female? What does this say about mankind? That men are still animals? I just don't get it.

That is such a sad statement. But I have never been able to make the connection between rape and sex. If someone gets turned on by violence does that not make him a sadist? And so are all the millions of women raped on this planet every year the victims of sadism? Does that mean that this planet have millions of sadists? And again, is this as far as we have evolved as a species? That is just terrifying.

Those little frogs and tadpole in the rice field remind me so much of khmer rouge time and my time living in srok puork,prey chrook and siam reap,it remind me of a khmer rouge village called ta kowng,po'reang and koak doang where family after family would disappear over night,when i was little i thought they just simply moved to another house or village,i later found out they were taken away to be slaughtered,it is my mother decision to run for our life that we are spared from certain death.
