  • i cannot hear this communist over the sound of freedom and prosperity and opportunity offered by capitalism. imperfect but better than anything else. eat it, revolutionaries.

  • LOL. A bunch of Trot revisionists. League for a REVISIONIST Party is more like it...

  • how about you learn somthing...americans kill dirty fucking dog shit reds like you...wonder why...might want to find out or forever be a stupid red unable to think for urself....oh wait thats the whole idea of being a red is you dont think...well enjoy makeing every single death for americas freedom worthless..well untill ur blood is spilled

  • you have nothing to loose apart from your shit hair cut

  • My views are right your views are wrong, and if u dont agree with me, my ppl will use violence to make you agree with my views. what a joke!

  • @buddymac201 That's not the idea of revolutionary Marxism. I'm not a Trotskyist but I am a Marxist. It's not an I'm right your wrong thing, or forcing people to follow you.

  • Lenin didn't know stalin would take power the man who was to take over was trotsky but stalin ecused him of treason and deported him to mexico so lenin had good intentions.

  • @GagesChannel Well, Lenin certainly did quite a bit to prevent Stalin from taking power, he seemed to fear it, rightly so I'd argue.

  • I used to be a Trotskyist. I realized that if Lenin was some kind of guardian of democracy as Trotsky said, why would he create a state with unlimited potential for bloodshed and political repression. If Trotsky really wanted someone else besides Stalin to blame for the nightmare the USSR became, look at Lenin! He created the structure of the state which gave Stalin unlimited power.

So I became a Luxemburgist with anarcho-syndicalist tendencies.

  • @commissarusa : I think that's pretty convincing. I nearly had the same thoughts and the same developement. Trotsky and Lenin had some great ideas, but they were violent authoritarians after all. I don't want to say you shouldn't read their writings, you can still learn a lot from thei theories, and you definitely should learn something from their practical mistakes, which is that trying to change society in a violent/authoritarian way makes it even worse. Forcing people to be free is paradox ;)

  • Nickvanzetti....your fascism is showing

  • And what fascism is he showing us?

  • Check out Progressive Labor Party.

  • That's bullshit, I'm not being funded by bankers. I dare you to find where they are funding the SPUSA? You're just a class traitor.

  • This is one that this out there, that the banks just fund the communists etc. This is, however, not true. And communists are the only real possibility of doing away with a system that brutally exploits, oppresses and murders people here and all over the world. Check out the RCP and what Bob Avakian is putting out, a re-envisioned revolution and communism that re-opens the possibility of making revolution here and getting to communism. google: revolution newspaper and bobavakiandotnet.

  • Nonsense. The CP and SP both are critical of capitalism. So how can they be both funded by capitalists if they oppose it?

  • Ya, they should only wear clothing they fish out of a dumpster!

  • interesting. I like how dedicated they seem to be to being active as radicals in their unions.

  • Trotsky was a hero and martyr. Keep up the good work comrades.

  • And delicious!

  • no he wasn't! he was a tool of the international bankers. he sold out the cause in Russia! research!

  • Stalinist?

  • Anarchist still pissed over Krondstadt

  • Dude is articulate.

  • These guys don't seem like Trotskyists at all... do they advocate a Leninist vanguard?

  • Links in the sidebar if you'd like to learn more about the League of the Revolutionary Party

  • You could become like a train spotter following all these leftist groups/parties/splits/tendencies. There are so many of them.

  • Hmm. Looks like an interesting organization. I'll check them out. Thanks for getting out the word on them.

  • These are great videos, they really know what they are talking about.

  • Marxists, Leninists, Stalinists, Trotskyists, Maoists.... so many personists

  • so many different ideas ... refreshing. And they say we Socialists are about centralized control?

  • That depends on whom you mean by "we Socialists."

  • Sure, we can lose the point of the comment and focus on labels and syntax instead.

  • Whom we include in our label matters, not only for this kind of elated value of clarity in language, but also for the practical reason that an idea's credibility is on the line. I mean, would you include National Socialists in the club of "we Socialists"?

  • But I think you missed the point of my first comment anyways. I think, generally speaking, the Personist varieties of Socialism tend to be more authoritarian and centralized in practice, since they often revolve around a cult of personality. While non-Personist varieties, like anarchism or council communism, generally lack such a cult of personality, and are thus more liberatory in spirit.

  • Fuck Authoritarian Socialists!

  • "Fuck Authoritarian Socialists!"

I'd actually prefer to avoid sexual relations with them...

  • A) You underestimate the dynamism of the word "fuck."

    B) If sexual relations negate their authoritarianism (and they aren't too fuggly) it might be an effective "revolutionary" strategy.
