I just watched this movie last night...and seriously dude...we are laughing at the movie...and the only way I would watch this movie is from a distance.

@msbailz I played a round of Mystery Science Theater 3000 with this movie, and I can agree with you. CGI exploding birds that make airplane noises are quite entertaining.
It's amazing a brain this small can ACTUALLY USE WORDS! Truly amazing. Why are there not studies being done on this creature? Perhaps we could learn to train our pets to make really great romantic comedies like Birdemic.
Laughing with the film only holds weight if the film is a comedy and/or does not take itself seriously, so when he insists that it's a serious romantic thriller AND THEN say that, it's a sign that either this man is out of his mind, or he's in complete denial. I mean, I don't expect him to own up and say, "Yeah, my film is terrible." but I expect something other than bold-faced denial.
Well, he seems ever so slightly out of touch with reality, but at least he's not some super-asshole really upset that people are laughing at his film just because he wanted it to be serious.
So. . .he's directing porn now???
