@russelllfc Not at all dude. There are a couple pro's like Todd Potter and Paris Rosen who didn't even ride until they were about 19-20. Learn everything you can about freestyle before you mod your bike, or build a ramp. I can tell you what i did if you want.

some people do cut out the number plate instead. just depends on your personal comfort. Where you more naturally want to grab on the bike
