  • Turn on the car with the gear in parking and the hand break on then turn the stearing weel to the right till it locks then turn the steering wheel to the left till it locks and the error should go away

  • So to reset the EAS all I need to do is take off the battery terminals, wait 30 seconds , touch them together and the EAS is reset?

  • not good to have range rover made to spent money.

  • all the range rovers out there, i seriously needa help with my 1996 range rover hse p38. the suspension is right to the frame and will not go up just seating on the fram ,i have checked the pump is working, the inside light that tells you high or low is solid amber not blinking.please here is my e-mail adress lintex5@hotmail.com .

i need someone to help me how to solve this problem. it is a nightmare to me now.help help help please any one.

  • @MrLintex1 sounds like your rear air springs are leaking. Try disconnecting the battery and touch the cables to reset the EAS computer. If you succeed go to the rear of the vehicle with a soapy water bottle and spray the rear air springs see if bubbles are visible. More than likely your rear air springs are shot.

  • Same situation has happened to me twice so far. First time a service shop cleared the fault and charged some $90, the next time I bought the fault reset plug from RSW solutions and did the reset myself. See rswsolutions site

Part from saving me time and situation, it will pay for itself after three such incidents.

  • My range rover just dropped from the front right side i believe the bag went out. Does anybody know of a good mechanic around southern cali that can check it out and possibly fix it. Times are hard and dealer is to expensive can anybody help. my email is yukongt0511@yahoo.com thanks.

  • @PECKERWOOD06 what year if it is an 03-05 or 06 LM range rover more than likely the strut is cracked and leaking. Simple way is to get a water bottle with soapy water, crawl underneath if possible with the vehicle running if its sever you will be able to feel the bag if its a slow leak and only settles overnight or so you will be able to see bubbles whey you spray the bag.

  • yah.....electronic problem.....get to the mechanics.....he resolved the problem with a computer

  • aa... just do diagnostic and remove some fault codes ?

    thnx :D

  • @isusje appears to be a desiccant clogged compressor muffler. Its not allowing pressure to release when the suspension adjusts downward, once this happens the RLM ride level module will fault and can only be cleared with a computer It might be able to be reset disconnecting the battery and touching the cables iver never tried this.

  • @isusje The compressor muffler is in the back under the spare tire, there is a cover with some 8 or 10mm bolts remove them and there is a brass object shaped like a cone. Use a 13mm i believe wrench CAREFULLY remove it LEAVE IT OUT, try disconnecting the battery to reset the RLM for 30 seconds holding the cables together, re connect the cables turn on the vehicle turn the steering wheel from lock to lock all the way to the right then to the left you will hear a loud air leak noise but dont panic

  • @isusje If your issue is resolved go to the local dealer and show them that part and install it yourself.
