many many years ago i heard her as salome here in the state opera of budapest and i could not grab a sensible german word of her singing, although she was good...
Is that she? my father knew and played concerts with her. A fineness in the line that is often missing nowadays..lovely and thank you for the link...ah, yes, these photos I recognize..

Thans for posting. Great recording. Astounding. Wish I could find her Wagner recital album. Couldn't even find it in Budapest a year ago.
