Beautiful, haunting song. I was a Freaks fan a long time ago, met Brian casually a couple of times, still listen to their stuff. I just learned about that awful day recently. Shocked and horrified, I ended up finding this song. Amazing song.

Wow. This was the only GREAT song on "Brighter Than Creations Dark." Absolutely amazing song, gives me chills everytime.

Bryan Harvey, the lead singer of House of Freaks, was murdered along with his wife and daughters on New Years. Patterson Hood knew him and the spirit of some of House of Freaks' music was similar to DBT's. The song is about him making it to Heaven and then finding out that his wife and daughters are already there.
