@romanich12 yes actually it is a 5spd. and it has leather so its very rare. great daily driver though! i really do like maximas for there durability. the 96 97 and i think 98 engines are proven to be one of the toughest six cylenders in history!!!! i just overheated my maxima cause of going 120mph for like 2 mins and sadly busted the radiator but i got a new one 2 days ago and its running great!!!

I was killing 95-99 Maximas with my PGT. Mods on mine
-new "freak" engine for you who know those
-ported ZE-manifold
-65mm throttle body
-Hot shot headers
-2.5" cat back
-MS with fuel and spark control
The car was tested against same model with a KLZE engine with same mods that ran 14.8 sec/14 mile) and always put one length on each run for several times.
From what i see in the video, this guy cant drive the PGT properly, and trust me it makes a lot of difference at the end.
Ok so that means you walked stock auto 3rd or 4th gens then because lightly modified Maxima 5speeds are capable of running 14.2 (even 13.9) in the 1/4 with the 3 Liter and I have time sheets to support this.
Some of the ones werent stock or so it looked. They came with big cannons in the back, God knows they either had an ebay muffler or modded. We also had a friend that we were racing with, the guy had a 2004 auto Maxima, catback, cai that was running 14.7 and he was getting me right around 105mph and putting a CL until shut down 125mph but thats a 3.5 V6 if i remember well.
Btw i dont doubt you on what those maximas can do, im a big fan of them although my other car is an M30.

@romanich12 Yea could find them but its not that easy. I got lucky with finding one. I went to a local junk yard and 95% of those maxima and altima are auto, just that alone goes to show how rare they are, keep in mind these cars were made as family cars not racing cars.

i had 11 ford probes 1993-1997(all of them gt) one of them had KLZE engine,stg2 clutch,plenum spacer,borla exhaust,cold air.,low/suspension...this thing was killing 1995-1999 maximas/5spd.

My maxima has about 265hp its pretty damn quick and im planning on supercharging it or just drop a turbo. I race a few cars and from what i know it seems like some cars just aint tuned right. the motor is not ford. it is mazda since it seems like peeps on here are just talking shit!! the probe only has 164hp 160tq. put the jdm klze in and the max will get beat. 200hp on the klze.
