Hallo Carla,ik ben een fan van je.Maar heb n vraagje.Heb n doek van 40x1.20 gemaakt,eerst gesso erop ,erin getekent,dan gekleurd.toen met zwart erover maar toen ik dat in t bad wilde afspoelen ging dus alles eraf.Bijna alles,maar het leek nergens meer op.Werkt dit alleen maar als je eerst de gaten vuller erop smeert???????En gebruik je n natte spons of n droge als je er verf op doet.

Ik hoop dat je mij kunt helpen hiermee,want ik vind het keileuk om te doen.

Hi Carla, I have just discovered you and I'm consumed!!! I am wondering what kind of glue you use. And my other question is, do you have to apply glue anytime you want to apply the spackle?? Thank you so much, you are brilliant!

I use a kind of glass fibre glue, but I think any glue will do fine. And I'm not sure that you have to apply glue anytime, but I do because I want to make it as durable as possible ;)

Yeah, you worked yourself into a mess and couldn't work it out...I've been there done that, chances are we'll go there and do that again. :)

Thanks Nola! I use a strong transparent (if it's dry) glue, I don't know the English word, but there is a kind of synthetic resin in it and you can buy it in a D.I.Y.shop..

Incredibly beautiful piece, Carla!!! You always capture the power and essence of myth and symbol so brilliantly in your work and your use of texture is an inspiration. So very awesome! I like to use texture in my digital collages,too, but being virtual textures, it can't look quite as amazing as it does in 3D work. At least, not in the same way.
