  • Estonia, Prussia, All the Eastern European countries, One giant mashed potato utopia!

  • ^_^ like it ^_^

  • Hmm... amusing. This video has actually made me appreciate this place a bit more (though I would imagine that's only temporary).

  • Also, they've sort of upgraded the McDonalds - they actually sell pretty excellent coffee there now(at a seperate counter, with bona fide baristas), so it's no longer completely pointless.

And also, you should look up a café called the Black Poodle (Must Puudel in estonian), probably my favourite café in the entire city. It's not all that easy to find, but it is worth the effort. You could just ask around, I'm sure atleast someone will help you find it, provided you are indeed interested.

  • Well that was unexpected - you two've actually been here?

I mean, Estonia of all places, didn't really think people found it interesting enough to travel to.

Still, I'm glad you liked it, hope you enjoyed all the splendors the Old Town part of Tallinn had to offer as well. If by any chance you're going to go on an other trip and visit Estonia again, I'd recommend you search for a bar called Levikas(short for levist väljas which translates to out of reception) in the Old Town. It's pretty awesome

  • You guys did try Pisang with milk and Vodka too right? It's called a Dennis the menace here in Finland and it's sooo delicious!

  • You should have went to Lithuania, my grandfathers home country.

  • @AndrewSMi95 ah! my great grandad and grandmother are from lithuania, whats it like ,i know nothing about the country, but id love to!

  • @Frekkincorkscrews I havent been to lithuania but I have read books about it and seen pictures its sapose to be beautiful. Im going after I graduate high school.

  • Sorry Dodger, but I have to laugh at Gin and Saku - there are far better things to drink in Estonia.

  • Agreed about potatoes :) Boiled baby potatoes with butter and fresh dill... YUM! :D Next time go in winter. MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • Están bien buenas :3

  • Wow, I'm a subbed Estonian and I didn't knew about this video, WTF!!!

    Glad u liked it!

  • Nice, that you like it. greetings from estonia ;)

  • And all this started with a choir

  • this is so good video

    from Estonia-Saaremaa =)

  • watched the whole video and i absolutely loved it :) one else thing with the cars... drivers very often signal the other drivers by flashing their lights to let them know about police in the area :) And have you heard about the Estonian Night Song Festival ? :) maybe even took part of it ?? :D

  • Next time u have to go sauna !(with cold beer) ;)

  • Wow, that's bizzare, you were with Hirvo Surva? Hehe. It's weird, watching some of your videos and then accidentally finding out that you have been here.

  • Estonia is a neat place. I visit there every now and then because its so near to Helsinki and its a good place to buy some alcohol(Finns do that a lot). Tooks only 2 hours by boat but if you want to take a copter it takes only 18 minutes.

  • It's always great to see that someone had a great experience visiting Estonia, I suppose it's a pride thing, and also to get an outside perspective and opinion of this place. Hopefully you'll get another chance to visit here. Well-wishes from the Estonian city known for its beach.

  • @penisenises Yay for Pärnu! :)

  • well honestly i live in estonia

and i wont say much good

the people are really mean theres low pay and shit weather

    greetings from pärnu

  • Estonian Potato!!! >:O

    hahahah :D

  • how to say 12 months in that language?

  • @Theguywithrandomname

I really didn't understand what you meant exactly, but if you meant "12 months" then it's "kaksteist kuud", but if you meant like all of the months then they are january-jaanuar, february-veebruar, march-märts, april-aprill, may-mai, june-juuni, july-juuli, august-august, september-september, october-oktoober, november-november, december-detsember :)

  • @slideremixshow honey, see on trikiga küsimus :) Häälda kaksteist kuud ja siis saad aru, kuidas see inglise keeles kõlab.

  • @ggrrish

    kui rumal minust :D

  • Estonia is great was there in 2008 for my brothers wedding im heading back over in 3 weeks time to see my Estonian niece for the first time the Estonian people have been so friendly and good to my brother since he moved over

  • Do come to Finland some day as well, Helsinki's just a 2-hour ferry ride away from Tallinn :) Sadly we don't have Olde Hansa, but our culture and language resemble eachother. Come and try out our A-swings xD

  • 06:25 .... Dodge? You scared the living shit outta me............ That laugh...... I have a heart problem now. I'm gonna die. Okay, not really, but seriously! 0.o

  • You are cool, greets from Tallinn, Estonia.

  • "who aaare you"

he made me remember a trek episode where a group of borg drones got separated from the collective, having their individuality and all but still linked to each other when chakotay had to link so he could heal his wounds

their father made me remember a drone that came afterwards to thank chakotay for the wonderful experience of having a new mind in the collective seeing that the group was together a long time

    haha so random I know

    cheers

  • the one liquor that I liked was banana's too... so good

  • Dodger leigh, your friend is cute ^_^

  • Belgium next hoozah:)

  • Coming from a 'former' truck driver here in the US, using hazards a thank you is standard 'tween trucks, also at night you use the trailer light interrupt switch to flash the trailer lights when another truck turns his lights on and off to let you know you are clear of him and can pull over. (it is unbelievably to tell at night where the end of your trailer is)

  • Is it okay to go there and put a giant sticker on the wall that says "DODGER SENT ME HERE!" and in small writing in the last E it should say"Yes this is totally a giant sticker."

  • i'm funny

  • Amanda is...kinda...hot

  • One does not simply walk into O'hansa

  • What!? You were in Estonia!? Over the years I've been thinking that we never get anybody awesome to come here, but damn was I wrong!

  • I wanna go. My family is from there. Only problem is that now nob heads from here (the uk) go over for their stag parties (bachelor parties) in estonia. And a lot of us British are proper bastards

  • Want some musical experience? Latvian Song Festival - v=baaX4-1_df0

    Recommend it!

  • Yea Eesti! Want to visit so bad now, all my family is from there

  • You could have Amanda Skype in if you want to continue the series with her, Dodger.

  • in your next video you should add an annotation for every correction amanda points out to you :D

  • putting the hazard's on is also a way of saying thank you in England.

  • @789jonl I think its like this anywhere in europe, here in austria as well

  • You should check out Finland too

  • I live in Estonia!!! Love your Estonian accents!

  • You should do coffee time with Amanda all the time :)

  • Burton!

    Burton!

    Burton!

  • Did Ronald Mc Donald touch your special place?? ..... bad clown! heh

  • Ha! read the tags

  • Im Slavak(Polish), know a good bit about my heritage, never heard of Estonia until i found out that Kerli was from Estonia, a month ago

  • @SkwerlBergamot Now that can't be normal. If you are from Poland then you must have heard about Estonia at some point.

  • @eksiarvamus

  • @scorchbubbles Pisang Ambon is a banana liquor that is wonderfully delicious..... ;)

  • So cool I absolutely love Estonia!!¨ xD

  • I AM DAVE! YOGNAUGHT!

  • @TheRoflc0pterz /Salute

  • 123456789

  • lol.. you couldn't go to sleep because you knew something might wake you up... like what? a goat.... a chicken.... I am curious to know

  • @davidi3002 Like other people being loud in a hostel I guess.

  • @davidi3002 A snoring and or drunk person entering or exiting the room. Or perhaps some loud people outside the window or down the hall in other rooms. It all happened......

  • Was really interesting to hear what other people think about Estonia as i'm Estonian.

  • YES belgium, somewhere ive been!

  • Estonia sounds like a nice place to get stoned

  • 03:33 YEAH! O.O

  • I thought Estonia was some made up place from encino man.

  • @django60617 *Facepalm*

  • @hyppie4life ??? No....I never dislike Dodger's videos, are you kidding me? Disliking coffeh time is blasphemy!

I said that because the normal dexbonus videos are 10 minutes long.

  • Be sure to visit us again!

  • Probably not so strange that you didn't like beer until you got to Europe because most American beers are pretty poor. Real beer do not contain things like rice, maze and such, it takes away to much from the flavor.

  • @nairobie755 Oh, you need to have some northwest micro brews if you think we don't have good beer! Portland Oregon has more microbreweries than any other city in the U.S. and there are some wonderfully artistic and completely unique brews here and in other parts of the northwestern U.S. Do not judge them before you try them my friend..... Partly why she didn't like beer yet is because she was 18 and hadn't tried many kinds as our drinking age is 21.

  • @boltslaw I know there are a few good beers from America, in particular Ipa's tend to be more up my ally then their British counterpart, same goes for Pale ales. I already knew about Portland, it is one of the cities I at some point want to visit just for that fact. And partially because of my favorite hops being breed there originally(cascade). But I would never go there before visiting places like Plzeň, Prague and Bavaria.

  • @nairobie755 You're missing out....... a lot of some of the best brews are only available in the pubs where they're brewed and not bottled for export or even local sale. And you wouldn't be able to get most of the beers that are bottled outside of the west coast of the U.S. and British Columbia. I know Europe is a lot like that as well. There were many beers that I've had there that I cannot find here, unless I find a super cool specialty shop. ;)

  • @boltslaw You cant buy the best beers at all here, that is it's illegal for home brewers to sell their beer. In most of the cases its 20 liter batches that will never be brewed again that really surpasses you're expectations, like the cinnamon and cow berry Christmas ale I had last year.

  • I love Pisang :P

  • how are they not related they are almost exactly the same person

  • Dodger, which do you prefer, Megaman's blaster or Samus' arm cannon? I was thinking of making one out of random materials. I realize that the Game Genie got you Megaman's blaster but I think that that was more due to access to the powers associated with it. My question was of aesthetics. Which do you prefer aesthetically.

  • Now I'm jelly... You should show some love to the other Baltic countries as well, Y'know?

  • Is it just me or does Dodger and Amanda have really similar mannerisms?

  • @hyppie4life

    u mad ?

  • How do you say twelve months in Estonian? "kaksteist kuud"

  • is honey beer different from mead? :)

  • @shurikenomics Honey beer is beer made with honey and mead is wine made from honey.

  • I'm gonna miss Amanda, she's been awesome on these videos. Such a lovely lass.

Estonia was already right up the top of my "to go" list. Want to go! >_<

I also never read youtube comments. I don't know how you put up with them, i can't stand them and they're not even about me or my looks or whatever. Oy vey.

  • You two really have umm.. Well I have no idea but it's awesome. I would say soul mates or something but thats not what im looking for. Just have a connection that really puts you together, or bring something out thats normaly not there. Don't get me wrong your amazing on your own, but you seemed to be really happy in the last one the two of you did aswell. So much charisma...

  • aw im gonna miss amanda :(

  • people living in the desert own cell phones nowadays .

we (Egypt) also have driving language that consists of honking/blinkers ..... which is mostly offensive >_< ,and only one gesture means "Thanks".

  • When I used to travel around the US a lot, I noticed that truckers did the hazards thing quite often.

  • We have those swings in a sf at childs playground

  • dodger in Estonia you eat perogies not burritos

  • @MustGetStronger i would imagine u must be quite the winner

  • @ringotomb - He is! I've seen the trophies.

  • Amanda needs a youtube!!! D:

  • @XceedXpectations I have one but no videos yet. I'll be working on my first installment soon..... ;)

  • How do you say 12 months in Estonian? :D

  • @S0VlET grow up

  • No Amanda next time? Aww. You two make the most awesome storytelling duo ever! :D

  • People who comment on these videos hitting on Dodger are fucking creepy. Her parents and family watch these videos.

Dodger is a cute and intelligent girl and you guys are making the rest of her fans look like a bunch of basement, neck-beard, chronic-masturbaters.

  • @InvaderGrimmVG Don't worry, I'm sure Dodger and her family are well aware that the net is full of creepos. She just ignores it, it's no big deal, you'll never get them to stop.

  • @InvaderGrimmVG well said

  • @InvaderGrimmVG don't feed the trolls man...that's how they grow

  • @InvaderGrimmVG While I understand the idea of internet white knighting, I still find it a bit humorous. The thing about the internet that is its greatest achievement and worst flaw is that unless you give your personal information you are for the most part anonymous. Some people are trolls, while others are just creepy. Anonymity gives these individuals a greater capacity to bring down the moral demeanor of any comment section. These flawed specimens will not stop due to your bravado. UMAD??
